“Gem in the middle of the desert. Don’t let the rough exterior scare you off. I especially appreciated the rocking chair on the front porch. Perfectly adequate lodgings for the price and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if i come through. It has the quality of a well worn and cherished pair of shoes. Comfortable and familiar. Rooms should however be equipped with fly swatters.”

“Disappointed with my stay at Copper Queen. I could hear the slot machines from my room all hours of the night. Strange layout and old, uncomfortable beds. The food at the restaurant is the best in town, which is the saving grace of staying here. However, even the service and ambiance at the restaurant leave something to be desired. I would not stay here again for the price.”

“The White Pine is a down home place. Not corporate at all. Yes, it is one of a kind and funky. It was all I needed. Friendly, quiet and reasonably priced on short notice.”

“This is an older property just off the main drag. The soundproofing is good and the Wi-Fi works well. They’re still working on some cosmetic things in the room I was in, but I overheard some regular guests saying that they make it a point of staying here every time they’re in the area.”
