“My sister & I stayed here for 4 nights. It was just the reset we needed! The place was darling & exactly as pictured. Just perfect for us. Had a little bit of difficulty getting up the last bit of the road to the driveway but a neighbor said to go faster & that did the trick (first time I did any type of rough driving in my Subaru). We went to the Luray caverns & some other local spots. We also spent a day just chilling at the cabin. It was exactly what we needed & we plan to go back!!!!...

“Great place. The owners were quick to respond when we had some questions about the tv and air conditioner. Really clean. Everything you needed. Bed was comfy but needed new sheets and mattress pad that stayed put. There was an extra small mattress that was crammed in by the table that was a little annoying and made space crowded. A single AIR mattress would have been a better option. The closet where all the extra bedding and extra towels were kept was over crowded and stuck out in walkway. All...

“These cabins are basically tiny homes. We loved sitting on the three season porch drinking our coffee. We were also over prepared but pleased to find that the cabin had linens, soaps, and coffee. We were also impressed to find that the TVs worked really well for connecting to hulu, netflix, etc. We also had good cell service at the campground. The cave tour was also amazing! I would highly recommend checking it out. The campground has plenty to do, but it is also conveniently located to other...

“The caretakers of The Birdhouse have thought of everything to make sure you are comfortable. Highly recommend. Only downside was tv did not work. Since we werent watching it anyway, it did not inconvenience us.”

“We (a group of friends and one tiny dog) spent a lovely and snowy weekend in Bob and Tammy's cozy cabin. Anything we needed--extra blankets, coffee filters, a colander--was there, and Bob even stopped by to give us some advice about navigating the property through the snow. We could not have asked for better hosts or a more comfortable cabin. Without a doubt, we would stay here again! 10/10”
