“Absolutely loved our stay at the Boathouse. The location in wine country is perfect- you can easily walk to several wineries, and the home itself was well stocked with all the supplies you need. I also need to comment on the decor- well styled and so adorable- everything is so well pulled together and quaint. We used the outdoor tub every night and enjoyed the stars too. Totally recommend.”

“What a beautiful spot, we loved watching the whales and dolphins from the deck and even from the couch! House was fully equipped with everything we needed and more. We loved being on the quiet side of Kaikoura with the peninsula walk a few minutes away. Gail was very accomodating and only a phone call away. Fantastic 10/10”

“The property is exactly as I pictured it would be, the perfect location to explore the South Island of New Zealand. The size of the house was perfect for my wife and me and it was equipped for a small fajitas dinner and a couple of small breakfasts. The only issue was that the views from the property made it hard to leave since it was so breathtaking. We can’t wait to come back!”

“Our only complaint with this property were the beds. They were very soft and worn. We were a group of two couples travelling. All 4 of us had bad sleeps on the two beds and complained of sore backs. Good beds are so important. The rest of the cottage was locked lovely. ”

“Beautiful, magnificent views of the landscape, quiet, peaceful, fresh air, safe and secure. I didn't like the dining chairs. Unsafe to sit on as they are on an incline. My daughter-in-law fell backwards while sitting on the chair while her son was sitting on her lap. She nearly hit her head against the wooden bench. No freezer available and no exhaust fan above the cooking stove. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crow's Nest holiday home. Thank you.”

“A fantastic wee gem in Arrowtown. The place was as described in the listing. Compact but very comfortable for a family of 4. Being safe and fully fenced for our Labrador was a huge relief. Well equipped with a lovely fire for the cooler nights. We loved our stay - would definitely recommend and we'll return for sure. Thank you.”

“A bit worn and no sparks from either room-cleaners or reception. Ok but nothing extra there. Its about 200-300 meters to walk from the centre wich is a plus.. Wi-fi costs extra and parking is free which is also a plus.”
