“Een geweldige ervaring om in een kasteel te slapen. De kamer was fantastisch, smaakvol en sfeervol ingericht waar alles tot in detail klopt maar toch met het gemak van de huidige eisen.
Onvoorstelbaar mooi uitzicht.
Ook het kasteeldiner was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Een sterrenrestaurant kan er niet aan tippen. Heel gezellig om met andere gasten te praten en ervaringen uit te wisselen.
Ik wil het kasteel als overnachtingsplek zeker warm aanbevelen.”

“We had a lovely stay at the Westwood Lodge on the 22nd - 24th December. The lodge was huge, spotless, and very cosy with the log timber walls, very alpine!
We were greeted by a super friendly hostess who was warm and welcoming and gave brilliant recommendations. We were also pleasantly surprised by the complimentary breakfast we received which was delicious!! Hot fresh eggs and all the usual continental sides and additions. The breakfast team also provided really wonderful service.

“Loved staying at Matuka - breakfast was wonderful, the ground were beautiful, location was convenient, and the room was so clean and comfortable. The weather was quite rainy while we stayed there and it was so nice to have a comfortable place to relax and still enjoy a nice view. Would absolutely come back and recommend to anyone staying in Twizel!! ”

“My husband and I had a magical night at the lodge. The attention to detail started the moment we stepped in with welcome drinks (non-alcoholic option available) and handmade chocolates in the shape of rocks. The view outside our room was out of this world. The dinner (included in our room rate) was world class - inventive and high quality ingredients. The breakfast the next morning had several options to choose from. One of our most special stays!”
