2. Cute cottage with a private beach

Breakwater Village

“We had a fine time; private beach is 1 minute walk and the outdoor shower is fantastic, great location which is the hilight of this property, but the host needs to update the listing, which she acknowledged once we were getting close to the trip, got the check in, and questioned details. The photos are confusing and misleading, the location when you “explore the property” shows the property right near the water (it is in the village above Shore Road) and that bed is not a queen bed, it is a...

9. Waterfront stuga i utkanten av en stor sjö. Nära Mystic och Foxwoods

“We LOVED this little cottage on the lake. We nicknamed the cove "Audubon Cove" because of all the bird watching! We saw herons, osprey, hawks, several kinds of ducks (including babies), cormorants, geese (including babies), and tons of red winged black birds! We saw a racoon swimming in the lily pads, turtles, and heard bull frogs at night. It was simply magical sitting on the porch and watching the World go by! We enjoyed kayaking during the day, grilling our dinner, and hot tubbing at...

10. Stuga vid sjön med vacker utsikt från två däck, nära Mystic & Foxwoods

Ledyard

“The property was exactly what we expected. It was clean, sat directly on the lake with beautiful views, as well as fun stuff, like kayaks, canoes and noodles to float around with. Bobby, (the host) answered any and all questions I had prior to check in, via the VRBO app in a very timely manner, and Brandon (our contact after check in) was just as attentive via text once we were there. I would highly recommend this property.”

“Sea Rose is a beautiful and thoughtfully maintained home. It has a lovely backyard area with fire pit, swings and eating area. There is a well stocked shed with bikes, beach chairs, corn hole, and more. We really appreciated the little touches like beach towels, side shelves by all the beds to plug in phones and even coffee and creamer! The kitchen was well stocked with pans, knives and utensils and the bathroom was thoughtfully stocked with makeup wipes and built in pumps of shampoo etc. We...

“We loved our right-next-to-the-water one night stay in The Nantucket. The sliding doors in both the living room and the bedroom are about 5 feet from the water. We loved watching the sun rise over the bay and having breakfast on the porch. The bed was comfortable - felt like memory foam. My five year old slept on the pull out couch (I would not want to sleep on that, but she was fine!) This place is such a tranquil beautiful waterside bungalow. It would be nicer if it was a tiny bit closer to...
