Beautiful Heavenly Home, Steps Away from Trails w/Private Hot Tub

This well maintained home features numerous sleeping arrangements and a private hot tub for those cold winter days.

Inside the home is a master bedroom with a king bed, walk-in closet, jetted tub, shower stall, double sinks and private deck. Then, throughout the rest of the house is another king bed, one queen, two doubles, two twins, and one extra bed. The spacious kitchen has ample cabinetry and tile countertops. The living room features tall ceilings and a gas fireplace. Also, there is a den area with a freestanding pellet stove. The home is equipped with WIFI and free domestic calls.

The amenities in this home are extremely attractive. As stated, there is a full kitchen, gas fireplace, and freestanding pellet stove. Also, there are four large HD TVs throughout the house, ceiling fans, wooden blinds, a covered deck, uncovered deck.

Furthermore, there are many exciting things to do around the property. It is located in a forested setting on a very large lot with beautiful mature trees surrounding it. Also, the home is only minutes to Heavenly Skiing and local casinos.

Per Local ordinance, the county wants travelers to pick up keys and to check-in in the office, educate guests and do a property overview. For this reason we don't do self check-in. Thanks for understanding!

Please note - prior to booking there is 25 years of age minimum requirement & must be present during entire stay and is strictly enforced. Driver's License will be required and requested for all bookings. Failure to meet minimum age requirement upon check-in guest will be evicted and will NOT be refunded for the entire stay.

Pet Policy: This property is pet-free, NOT pet friendly. Please note if an unauthorized pet is found in the vacation home, we will ask that it be removed immediately and a non-refundable fee of $500 (sometimes up to $1,000) will be charged.

No Smoking: If any signs of smoking are documented, the renter agrees to pay a $300.00

Very comfortable. Needed shovel to clear snow. Best hot tub ever with good 103 degrees and multiple jet options. Working grill. Had ant issue but was fixed next day. Close to Heavenly.

All of the amenities listed do technically exist, but weren't what we expected. The house itself is a little worse for wear, but it was clean and affordable. It worked for our use. It seems most of our issues could be boiled down to the inattentiveness by the property management firm that was responsible for the house. The driveway was inaccessible from the street and our SUV bottomed out/was stuck on an ice "berm." I requested assistance from the property management firm's emergency number and they never returned my call. I'm assuming they'd respond differently to a backed-up sewer line. We were able to dig ourselves out with some spare lumber from the garage and a pocket knife, why would a house in the mountains have a shovel? After skiing we discovered the hot tub wasn't useable. It was green and smelled terrible. I should have heeded other guests' warnings in the reviews that criticize the state of the hot tub. I notified the property management firm and they sent someone out the next day to "take care of it." After skiing the following day - and after the hot tub was "fixed" we figured out the tub was drained and refilled. About all you can do given how gross it was. Except now it was only 58F. 0 for 2 on hut tub use. Upon our departure we started the dishwasher and discovered it leaked all over the floor - called the manager to notify them, but their office was closed - Saturday. Maybe emergency service would have responded this time? We had to catch flights

It was a bit gloomy as we walked in. Photos in the reference upon booking are a bit deceiving. But after the second night, we got used to it and it felt homey and comfortable. Kitchen supplies are very sufficient for our use.

Pros: - Huge property (lots of beds, huge primary bedroom) - Hot tub - Good water pressure Cons: - Need to go to a Real Estate office to get keys, i.e., no code for doors. Feels like unnecessary hassle. - Many things didn’t work upon arrival: downstairs TVs and fireplaces, with no house manual or instruction manuals to be found anywhere. - Checked in during holidays / after-hours, and couldn’t reach an actual live person except via their “emergency” line. With the *other* major vacation rental company, you can always reach your “host” easily via app or phone during most of the 24 hrs. - Comforter in the Primary bedroom smelled bad - it was obvious it hasn’t been washed recently. - Was provided a total of 2x of each: tiny little shampoo and conditioner bottles (smaller than what hotels give) for a house meant for like 12 people. - Upstairs heating is not well distributed; very cold in big primary bedroom, and too warm in other bedrooms. - Carpets were stained, and house is generally very dated. - Upon arrival, the table was set for a formal dining event, with plates and cloth napkins set out in napkin rings. I guess the intent is to make it seem like a nice place, but in reality not welcoming. Who is going to have a formal dinner for a trip to S. Lake Tahoe? I had to clear the settings, which is extra work for me (and unnecessary work for the cleaning crew). Had an overall negative impression of this house. Would not recommend, and would not go back.

House is nice and big with plenty of beds and space to spread out. Hot tub is great, though with little privacy from the next door neighbors since there is no fenced backyard. Kitchen is well stocked with plenty of plates and kitchenware. Only feedback to the homeowner is to get a new bunk bed. This one was rickety, made a lot of noise and overall, felt unsafe so was not used for subsequent nights.

Pros- great location, spacious property, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. The patio hot tub is spectacular. 2 cars can park in the garage, which is super convenient when it's raining outside. It's 10 min to just about any place worth going in South Lake Tahoe. Just down at the end of the street is a maze of trails connecting neighborhoods that was super fun to walk in, especially in the snow. Minor cons - the decor is a bit dated, and the carpet is a bit less than pristine. The check in process is slightly annoying - you deal with multiple companies and to check in you have to first go to downtown S Lake Tahoe to pick up the keys. But seriously, these are minor issues for a lovely stay in a great neighborhood.
