“My Husband and I stayed here one night as we passed through on our way home to Missouri. It was very cute and clean. The outhouse was not bad at all. We took to the hike to the lake and explored the beach before coming back to the cabin. Warming up soup for dinner that we brought and reading some books that were n the cabin. The weather was perfect and the fireplace made it nice in the evening and throughout the night. We visited May 29-30, we saw deer turkey and as we left a black bear was on...

“I LOVED the Sunrise cabin! It was camping but with a few amenities that made the experience much better than sleeping in a tent. Very peaceful and quiet and only a 10 minute walk to Lake Superior. The showers in the lodge were an added bonus. I definitely will be back and have already shared with friends, encouraging them to check out this awesome place!”

“Stay was wonderful. Beautiful cabin, beautiful weather and absolutely beautiful views! Couch was terribly worn. Walk to shower house/ bathroom is a trek! Steps to it would be helpful. Overall the price was perfect, cabin very nice. The gamily time it created was amazing!”

“We liked the quiet spot in the woods which was a nice location to Duluth and North Shore activities. The kids loved sleeping in the loft. We hiked through the woods and found the little waterfalls right from the property. We even got to see a bear on our last night. The property had everything we needed.”

“We loved our stay here! We had a large group with ages ranging from 0 to 70! Place was spacious and clean! We were very stunned upon arrival. Caretaker was very informative and low key. We forgot he was even on site! We will be returning for sure.”

“This worked perfect for our family and our stay, especially with our hound along for the ride. We’d like to return in the summer months to better be able to explore the trails. The one difficulty was the lack of heater in the cabin necessitating use of space heaters. While the cabin remained warm enough I was under the impression there was more centralized heating. Other than that we had no issues and really enjoyed our stay!”

“We were able to go out to eat at some fun restaurants for supper each night. At the same time, we felt as though we were hours away from the hustle and bustle. Nature was all around, yet conveniences kept everything hassle free! We will recommend this get-away to friends and family. We will definitely come back multiple times.”

“The cabin is situated in a nice quiet area. The amenities were just what anyone staying would need. It was very comfortable and fit our needs for our trip. The owners even contacted us to let us know we could check out later if we wanted! I would book this place again.”

“The lake and beach is beautiful. Our grandkids visited for 4 days and they spent hours playing around in the sand. Grand kids were able to see the numerous deer in the neighborhood. The cottage itself was well supplied. The drawback to the cottage is having the bathroom in the basement. There is no handrail on the basement steps, which makes traveling to the basement a bit of a safety issue. Overall though it is a very nice cottage in a good location”

“We loved the property! The upper level was amazing for dining and hanging out. We spent lots of time on the beautiful deck and we used the awning. The pontoon was a huge hit and we fished and swam off the dock. We only used one of the fire pits, but really enjoyed it. The bunk house was used by two of us and was a lovely addition. The basement bedrooms were beautiful and all the beds were great! The hosts were very communicative and helpful. I will be booking this property again!”
