The floor should need to be mopped of regularly, for example every 2 day.

“Loved this motel. For the first time ever, I booked our room for a day later than we needed it at the end of our road trip. The staff member on duty was very gracious, helpful and he sorted it out - lucky for us, there was a room available. Our room was spacious, had great WIFI, a great bed, desk, sofa and a coffee table. “The room was nothing like what was shown in the images. Very small and ran down. When we turned on the AC it immediately smelled of mold. There was an open bottle of water in the refrigerator from whoever stayed before us. The toilet never stopped running the entire three nights that we stayed.
