We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and it worked well for us -- good sharp knives was a plus. Being able to walk down the dock and get the freshest lobsters possible for an excellent price was the highlight of our stay. “This is a great place especially if you have dogs. The only advice I would give the management company is to leave directions to the transfer station or better yet take the trash for your guests at the end of their stay. Putting smelly trash in our car wasn’t great. All in all though, it was a great place for a family with dogs!”

I pay attention to the details.The home had a three night minimum.The fee for the host was as much as the nightly rate. There for we expected the service to match the rate. “Had the good old field of what we always called a "camp." Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and glassware, etc. The lobster processing facility made for a bit of noise and a pretty steady stream of traffic. A lot of trucks, from pickups to semis coming in and out. Didn't really bother us a whole lot but it might bother other people. Overall the view of the water was pretty nice except for the power lines and there's not much that can be done about that. Have to have electricity after all.”

“My husband and I stayed here in for several nights and really enjoyed our time. It's a very cute guest cottage close to the main downtown. Very nicely decorated, clean, comfortable bed, and quiet. Nice amenities, such as a fan, record player, wine/bottle opener & glasses, kitchen supplies, plenty of blankets, and designated parking spot. “I traveled solo and it was the perfect respite. Check in is simple, Pilot welcomes you with a wagging tail and gives the grand tour. Having left my own furry friend at home, I was happy for his company. Furnishings are more updated than the photos show. I can't imagine anyone needing anything more than what this cottage provides.
