“I have never stayed in a hostel before and as such may have too high requirements. It is up a steep hill, half-way between the centre of Bath and the university (10-15 min to uni, 15-20 min to centre). However, excellent transport connections as there is a bus stop named after the hostel with very regular connections (every 5-10 min). Further, no WiFi in the rooms. I stayed in the double room with own bathroom and it was okay but old. Only a bunk bed really. For nights it was okay though and...

“This isn't a 5* hotel nor is it trying to be! A beautiful Inn, freshly renovated with a great vibe. The staff and food can be described as exceptional. I understand how the reviews are so good and I'm happy to add to them.”

“Very Basic, a table would have been ideal. Clean. No lift. it was a very quick nightout but only needed a clean bed and shower and I was very happy with the conditions. Overall good night sleep. The only minus is it take a while to find the location as Google maps does not display it correctly. I think they should put proper instructions in their confirmation email. Instead they only focused about Parking. Actually between 6pm -8am there is free parking at Old Station Car Park.”

“The check in is only between 5-8:30pm. I arrived at 9pm and luckily I called beforehand and the reception lady waited for me. The staff is very friendly. Everything was very clean. The kitchen is big and can allow 3 groups cook at the same time. The surrounding is serene. The river in the front provides natural white noise day and night, good for sleeping. ”

“Unbelievably cheap stay. Lovely en suite room with sea view. Staff very friendly and helpful. My first stay in a YHA in nearly 30 years and experience was so good I’m looking to come again. Only gripe would be internet signal in rooms a bit poor ”

“Nice alternative to conventional hotels and apartments. The structure offers a room and a social dining/relaxing area available for all the guest. We enjoyed meeting other travellers and playing ping pong and snoocker”
