“I travel regularly for appointments in Chapel Hill. This is the first time and the last I will stay at this hotel. I was awaken several times by loud steps from the upper level on top of my room. I was in room 327. Not sure if this is a regular thing, but the least I expect when staying at a hotel is a good nights sleep. The noise level outside was also horrible. The pillows on the bed were also disappointing. Will continue using Aloft where at least I can assure I will be able to sleep.”

“The property was good. The pool was ice cold ( fresh water ) but I booked the hotel because of the pool. We would stay there again!”

“There were roaches in my room. They changed me to an upper floor and upgraded my room but there were still roaches. Did not like the hotel but the staff was very nice and professional.”

“The staff were nice and our stay was fine overall. Two things require improvements: 1) the hallways frequently smelled very bad. 2) It’s impossible to relax in outdoor areas if other guests are allowed to play videos or music (loudly) on speaker. I would suggest putting up clear signs that having one’s phone on speaker in common areas is not allowed and actually enforcing it.”

“We really like the homewood suites brand and look forward to the expected amenities- this one was in a great location but could use a bit of refreshment. Not sure why the hallways have the exposed wiring at the ceiling wall. Breakfast was nice but not as extensive as other locations such as Dallas/ Fort Worth. We had a very long walk from our unit 329 to lobby/ breakfast area. Overall rating is good and I would stay again ”

“House keeping could be improved. Requested additional towels because they only clean every other day, and they would not bring them to the room. Made you pick them up downstairs. ”
