âWe first stayed for four days in a "Studio". The "Studio" (one large room) worked really well as an "office". However, the internet connection was not up to standard. Skype meetings lagged much and this is unacceptable in a University city as Chapel Hill. In the apartment I am currently staying in Carrboro Skype works much better so Hampton Inn must be able to do better. We also stayed in a "normal" room at Hampton Inn and internet worked equally poor there. The hotel has a well-priced parking...
âI really enjoyed this property. Each floor has an area with snacks in a refrigerator like sodas and ice cream and popcorn. We stayed during a not very busy time, but I bet this place would be amazing during a football or basketball game.â
âWhat makes this hotel so special is the staff. From the moment you enter the door Jerry greets you and treats you as though you have entered a five star resort. I did encounter some problems with noise and he took care of the it immediately and professionally. I also ordered room service and it was delivered quickly and the food was very good. The staff here is amazing. But again, I must say Jerry is one of the best Iâve ever meet in this business!â
âBreakfast is fantastic. Very easy to commute to UNC School of Gov. Food in the area is abundant, try Mess Hall. Didnât give 5 stars on room because both the A/C units in my room were acting up and werenât fixed by the time my stay ended. Didnât give 5 stars for area around property because multiple of my classmates had their cars broken into/damaged in the parking lot. Not the hotelâs fault but it happened.
