“Te Mata Heights is beautifully presented inside and out, with modern furnishings and decor. The photos don't do it justice! A couple more bath towels, tea towels, crockery, and a small bbq would make this place 10/10 . But other than that, Te Mata Heights is the perfect piece of paradise with the most stunning ocean views. Highly recommend for the perfect couple get away. Meitaki maata Temata🌺”

“Really great place, awesome location, all you need. Was kicking myself when we arrived, because i never realized it has no AC. I thought we were destined to a few days of sweating ahead. BUT... the ocean breezes did a wonderful job of cooling the place down. I was worried that a restaurant so close might bring unwanted noise and smells... but there again, not at all. It was really actually pretty great have a good restaurant so close. Would stay again in a heartbeat!!”

“Perfect house and location with fantastic hosts who were delightfully helpful, entertaining and informative. House is close to great beach which we swam in every day - who knew you actually just float here! The location was perfect being away from main centre and had everything we needed. Our hosts spoiled us with fresh fruits and local fish - they even cooked our last meal for us which was amazing. I would never expect the level of care and help they gave to us to make our stay there so...

“We stayed for 10 days and what an awesome place to have found. Only 5 minutes from town and 10mins to the airport. We could sit and watch and listen to the breakwater all day. Would love to be there when the whales are in the area, that would be a magnificent sight. The only down fall is access down to the lagoon but 10 minutes along the road is great access to the lagoon and brilliant cafes and bars. The house had everything for a great stay. We highly recommended to everyone.”

Located super close to the beach and walking distance to some excellent snorkeling opportunities. The indoor/outdoor living at this property was perfect for us and we enjoyed the beautiful tropical garden. The home was perfectly appointed and there was nothing we needed. “The view was great. I didn’t use the bikes or kayaks but good to have them. Air conditioning was a saviour in humidity. I enjoyed working out the buses and using them. I also enjoyed walking into the shops and along the beach and it was easy to explore the area - cujtural show, night market, museum, gardens. Plenty to do despite the weather! Not a beach holiday this time. ”

“Our family (3 generations) enjoyed staying at Turou retreat. The house provided the space we needed and gave us the option to cook our own meals. The location is great. Everything is close by on Rarotonga. We loved going to ice cream and had some amazing meals at local restaurants. Thank you Linda and family for letting us stay in your house!”

“The house was large and spaceous. The kitchen was had everything we needed The pool was a huge benefit. Some maintenance is needed with the pool as there are some loose tiles. The bathrooms could do with some cleaning. The host was lovely, easy to contact and allowed us to have a late check out which was much appreciated. Bananas and lemongrass were given free and shared some vinegar for my dressing! 😊 Place is quiet and very relaxing which is also what we need for this vacation. Lots of DVDs free to borrow.
