“Property has the potential to be good when fully renovated, just not there yet. For the cost it is not a first choice unless you have a dog that joins the neighbours dogs barking and the loud music playing across the street in the early hours of the morning until dawn. Outside area looks good in the pics, but dusty and dirty. Sign suggesting animals welcome on the beds, and for cats in the bed - a complete turn off from a hygiene point of view. Pick another location unless you have animals.”

“My husband and I enjoyed our stay, and love the fact we could bring our dog. The property was charming, and had an excellent kitchen and bathroom and a fantastic view. I think that accessibility might be an issue for some and the backyard could do with some tidying up (as difficult to see how well it was fenced, which is important when you have a dog)..”

“The property suited us in that we were three families with two young children. The staff at Harcourts were exceptional. When a problem came up, they were there to solve it very quickly. The house needs some serious TLC with the cushions on the front porch cleaned and the back screen door fixed. The barbecue is great but the kitchen stove is marginal. There was a great supply of essentials such as oil, salt, sugar etc. The house would be greatly improved by having an indoor table to sit at and...

“Great location, clean and had what we needed. The house is old and tired but you see that in the listing, it was just as the photos showed. Air conditioned and quiet. A huge bonus, our dogs were allowed inside with us too.”

“We were delightfully surprised by this place. Close enough to the beach to walk with a bin of gear and boards. Living room large and cozy. Washer and driver and garage with bikes/scooters. Could use a seventh seat indoor and out as it sleeps seven but truly not a huge deal. We would definitely go back.”

“Lovely house. Views were fabulous. Some more comfortable chairs on veranda where you can also see view would be good. Just camping chairs would suffice. Havent been anywhere where there is no hairdryer. Had to buy one. Beautiful kitchen. Some microwave dishes would help otherwise well stocked. Some light bulbs need replacing. We had a great time and would recommend Top Spot. Just if you attend to those few pointers it would be even better.”

“Enough space for us and our boats, however if there is rain you cannot get your boat upto the house. Good host.”

“Very lovely property. Had everything we needed for a weekend away with friends. Beds are extremely comfy. Only thing is we were attacked by either fleas or grass midges on the back deck. Need a lot of bug spray which you will need to take with you. ”

“A very lovely, spacious, clean and well equipped property that is across the road from the shopping village. Complete with pool, this property makes for the perfect getaway. I’d definitely stay again next time.”
