“B'berg born and schooled,parents lived there all their life so had visited frequently but this was a stopover(2 nights) before continuing on to Mackay .Our German Shepherd settled in very quickly as nice and quiet.Host was very understanding when queried about access process as we didn't read instructions closely enough,very comfortable stay”

“We stayed here recently due to my daughter playing at the QISSN carnival. It was only a short drive into Bundaberg. The accommodation itself was modern, clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Sitting on the front porch looking down to the water was perfect and it was a quick walk to the cafe and swimming beach. Would definitely stay again. Thank you ”

“We had the best 3 nights here with 2 surfing families. The location is epic, Graham Colyer drive has two public cut throughs which made the property super accessible to the beach and the shops on foot, skateboards or bikes. It’s far enough out of the hub that it provides a relaxed and peaceful retreat to return to after a day at the main beach. We utilised the track through Sandcastle’s Resort to access the beach for early morning surfs. The house itself has a relaxed beach vibe and quirky...

"Amazing island with dreamy beaches and spectacular wild life. Snorkeling was great and very convenient - we experienced loads of rays, turtles and different fishes. Food was better than expected, except from Christmas Day lunch (disaster to an outrageous high price - but no alternatives available so we had to attend to get lunch). Rooms simple but ok. No AC, fan worked ok. Shower pressure good! Beds not very comfortable. But the main focus was the outdoors so all in all a wonderful experience. Would love to come back & highly recommend people to visit! "
