“Lovely little cottage with a deep claw foot bath. Felt a little neglected, especially with cobwebs hanging over the double bed. Stainless steel items needed a proper cleaning agent used on them. No proper parking space for our car near cabin. These things apart we enjoyed our two nights here. ”

“One of the best accommodations we've ever stayed at! The unit overlooks a beautiful view to the water with private access. The place felt brand new, and tastefully designed. Very recommended for a romantic getaway! Hope we'll find a reason to come back!”

“This property is full of charm with all the modern essentials & beautifully presented! It's close to the main house but still has enough privacy. Outside the cottage is a beautiful heritage listed garden to appreciate. Off-street parking is a bonus as the streets in Glebe are narrow & it's almost impossible to find a park.”

“The room was styled and furnished beautifully, Gary & Peter have put a lot of thought into the inclusions. Tea and coffee facilities available along with oranges to make freshly squeezed juice. We booked the studio room, for the price I’d expect complimentary continental breakfast. Gary explained the landscaping is a work in progress, this should be reflected in the pricing. ”

“We stayed for one night visiting the surrounding areas. The chalet is very nice, roomy with well equipped with kitchen living area. We dined in the Bistro & Ellie recommended the 3 course special for $59 per person. This was the best dinner we had so far during our trip in Tasmania. Will definitely booked again and enjoyed our stay greatly ”

“This is a great place to stay. So much history. The library is amazing. The cottage was built in the mid 1800’s. So it’s vey old. But certainly worth staying. Even electric blankets on the beds. ”

“Fantastic property right by the Tyenna River. Our family of 4 enjoyed using the it as a base to explore the surrounding areas. The river was a big hit with the kids trying their luck at fishing. The cottage was clean, warm and comfortable. Thank you for sharing this special spot with us, we loved our stay.”
