  • Vår charmiga stuga med 2 sovrum har utsikt över hamnen och vackra trädgårdar. Dessa trädgårdar har fotograferats för vykort från Maine. Sitt på främre däck och luktar saltluften och njut av kikar av hummerbåtar, segelbåtar och en fungerande hamn.

    Stugan ligger i en prestigefylld stadsdel på Clark Point Road. Inget behov av bil. Du kan gå till stan och äta på gourmetrestauranger, shoppa i exklusiva butiker, specialvin, ost och matmart, hummerpund, ett fantastiskt oceanarium för barn, bibliotek, fiskmarknad och havssimning.

    Du kan också flagga ner den gratis Acadia-bussen framför stugan för en tur till någon del av ön: städer, vandringsleder, filmer. Du kan gå in i staden och hyra en cykel och ladda den på bussen som ska släppas var som helst på vägen. Platsen möjliggör stor oberoende för alla, särskilt barn!

This was the perfect spot for us to stay in Bar Harbor close to Acadia during our NE Roadtrip. We loved the house and the accessibility to everything we needed and wanted. The sunset from the deck was gorgeous, bed was comfortable, and the cabin cozy. The walkability to several restaurants was great and we enjoyed every second. Bonus that the hostess of the property was so friendly and kind. We will be back in the future. I would definitely recommend a stay at this wonderful property!

Wonderful stay. Cute cottage very close to town and all there is to do in southwest and bar harbor. Great host. Happened to meet her at open play pickleball! Would definitely stay again. Thank you!!

The location of this property is excellent. We were able to walk down to see the harbor, walk to dinner, it's close to the trails we wanted to explore in SW Harbor, a great location on the "quiet side". We had a great dinner at Beal's (walking distance) and took an amazing lobstering and seal boat tour out of Dysart's Marina, down the street. We would definitely stay in this area again.The house itself was okay, we spent minimal time there as we were out exploring everyday. There were a few closets which would have provided great storage but they smelled musty/mildewy so we did not use them. The bathroom is very much needing updates. It was not the most comfortable but again the location was amazing.

Memorial Day weekend stay

Really enjoyed this cottage and location! Easy to get to Acadia and bar harbor, but southwest harbor in itself was a great location. Walking distance to great breakfast, dinner, and shops.

The location alone is a wonderful reason to rent this place - so close to Beal’s, we ate there twice, and a lovely neighborhood for walking, with town just steps away. But on top of that, it was a good and comfortable home base for exploring the area. We had all we needed, and loved that we could stay with our dog.

Last minute get away

We enjoyed our time in southwest harbor. Beautiful area! Nice to be away from all the hustle and bustle of the park. Would recommend the cottage for friends and family when they plan to come this way.

Lovely cottage

We so enjoyed our three night stay. The charming and clean cottage was perfect for exploring Acadia and only a short walk to the beautiful town of Southwest Harbor. We will be back again!

Perfect Second Stay!

This was our second time staying at this property in SW Harbor and once again, we loved it! The cottage was perfect for our family of four. Gary and Marilyn are fantastic hosts - always ready and willing to offer helpful suggestions and recommend places to explore in the area. Highly recommend staying here - hope to be back again someday soon!

The BEST

We loved being in SW Harbor in this location...walkable to everything we wanted...Birds everywhere. Great recommendations from owner (who lives next door) on things to do and places to eat. This town is great because you are close to Acadia and Bar Harbor but it's way quieter and more peaceful for that Maine getaway. LOVED it and will stay here again on another visit!

Excellent location and proximity to Acadia

This cottage was perfect for our family of 4. Wonderful location, within walking distance to the marina and many restaurants. Clean and safe area with so much to do near by. We enjoyed staying in southwest harbor which is very close to the park, butich less busy then Bar Harbor. The hosts are helpful and have everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Quiet street location; easy to walk to both dining and shopping. Also easy to drive to other areas of interest. Hosts had lots of books and other literature about the area available to read; they were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this cottage.

Wondèrful

This cozy little cottage had the perfect location with a gorgeous view of my favorite garden in SWH and the harbor beyond. It is a very short walk to restaurants and shops. We loved having fires in the woodstove. The kitchen was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. We definitely want to stay again!

Mini vacation

The property was perfect for our stay. Marilynn was wonderful and even helped with our dogs when we were out! The only negative is our stay wasn’t long enough!
