“Excellent location, it’s a short walk (some uphill - wear a sturdy shoe) from free parking. There is easy access to hiking trails - a beautiful hike along the aqueduct to Collepino and back to Spello, and a trail to Assisi. We had a bit of rain so didn’t get to do the Assisi hike. There are good restaurants and bars a short walk into the city center. Cantine di Spello was a highlight- make a reservation in advance.
