Riktigt bra upplevelse! Otroligt trevlig personal. Mycket bra rum (fick rum 3 och 4), som låg i samma hus som receptionen. Frukosten över förväntan. Läget är bra, nära till centrum. Tyst och lugnt på natten. Åker jag till Split igen så kommer jag boka här.

Perfekt läge
Perfekt läge i Split nära hamnpromenaden, gamla stan och buss/båtterminalen. Vi bodde här en natt, och avnjöt även hotellets goda frukost. Rekommenderas varmt.

You arrived in the evening when it was dark outside and left the next morning - of course it was dark ;o) Most of our bathrooms are small as the rooms are located in a heritage protected over 300 year old typical dalmatian stone house - but everything is shown in the pictures. Maybe it was too small for 3 adults - our rooms are double rooms and you booked an extrabed. We hope to welome you again and next time you're welcome to book a room with a big bathroom and jacuzzi tub. All the best from the entire Team

Excellent service and perfect location
We were exceedingly happy with our stay at Authentic Luxury Rooms. The location is perfect, a few minutes walk from both the old town and the beach, but still on a calm side street. The room was quite small but clean and comfortable and the breakfast very satisfying. The best qualitie of the hotel was the friendly and helpful staff giving our stay that extra something!

Perfect service - nice and clean room
The room was clean and fine but there was a scent that sprinkled out in the hallway and room which we did not like. The building was about 300-400 meters from the front desk and it was at the front desk for breakfast.The building we stayed in was old and in need of exterior renovations with the room itself was very nice. The staff were very nice and helpful. We were first disappointed that it was not a real hotel, but it was fine anyway. And - we did not read enough about the hotel. Our room was on the 3th floor witout elevator.

The building is under UNESCO protection which means it is very difficult to do any construction work on it but we would be the happiest if we could just renovate the outside. The rooms are located on the 2nd floor as stated on hotels.com - not the 3rd floor but our staff is carrying luggage for our guests upon check in and check out. Best regards from the Authentic Team

Centralt med mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal!
Vill du ha ett centralt boende i split med nära till allt och parkering för en hundring är detta perfekt! Inte jättestora rum men med tanke på läge och prisklass perfekt! Och personalen mycket trevlig och hjälpsam!

More standard than luxury
At our last night in Split, we wanted to treat ourselves a little extra by booking a superior double room at this hotel. Unfortunately first of all the pictures of the room was missleading, showing the "spa room", which we realised entering our room. Second of all the there was nothing luxurious or superior with the room...exept perhaps the complicated shower with multifunctions that we never understod how to operate. the space in the bathroom was very limited and when you got in you had to close the door to get to the sink. The upsides were the location, 5 min to AirPort shuttle and the riva. They also served a nice breakfast and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Dear Helena, Thanks for your review. You have different room types shown on hotels.com-before you book a room you choose which one you wish to book. When you choose a superior double room you will only see pictures of this room type, so there shouldn't be any confusion. When you arrived, we offered you the Delux Double Room with Spa Bath Corner, which was also available - but you didn't want to take it. Of course there is only one picture on the main page, so not all rooms can be shown. Also, there is a clear description for each room type. Regarding the hydro massage shower - upon check-in you get a detailed description of the amentities in the room (tv, aircon, shower...). If you had any questions, you were more than welcome to ask our staff for help, as they told you upon check-in, reception is busy from 7am until 10pm. Hope to see you again in Split.

Om man är van att bo i lägenhetsform så kan det passa bra, men då rummet låg 250 meter från receptionen är detta inget för gäster med hotellkrav. Mario gjorde dock vad han kunde för att vi skulle trivas, men vi bor på hotell vid nästa besök. Inte värt pengarna då man kunde boka hotell i bra läge i samma prisnivå. Rummet var dock mycket modernt och väl inrett.

Enkel lyx!
Fina rum med lite extra lyxkänsla. Vi hade bubbelbad i vårt rum med utsikt över hamnen. Servicen var bra, men då hotellrummet låg i ett annat kvarter än själva receptionen så kanske det kunde ha varit jobbigt om man behövde ngt extra. Är man dock van att bo i lägenhet och liknande är det inte problem alls! Gillade ändå konceptet där gamla lägenheter byggs om till små korridorer med hotellrum.

Hotell med perfekt läge för att se gamla stan i Split. Lite annorlunda med spridda rum i olika byggnader men inte krångligt. Personalen är mycket hjälpsam och hjälper till med väskor, parkering mm. Modernt rum som tyvärr luktade lite mögell. Städning ok.

Våra väskor tappades bort på flygplatsen, men personalen på Authentic hjälpte oss att ringa och få hit väskorna dagen efter. Oroligt omtänksamma och hjälpsamma, både vad det gäller service och utflykter. Rekommenderas till alla som vill bo bra, i hjärtat av Split!

Receptionen här rummen där.
Rummen är helt okej. Receptionen låg på rätt plats enligt kartan. Däremot får man gå 200 m till ett slitet gammalt hus för hitta rummen. Vi bodde där vi två tillfällen och bägge gångerna låg rummen i detta huset. Väldigt slitet trapphus med knarkarbelysning på kvällen. Rummen är dock som skrivit redan Ok.

Perfekt läge!
Hotellet ligger perfekt mittemellan centrum och busshållplatsen/färjehamnen och stranden om man som vi tänkt åka på dagsfärder ut till öar eller byar i närheten av Split. Rummen är fräscha, servicen bra, och frukosten helt okej om än inget extraordinärt, trots att de färska fikonen stack ut.

We had a decent experience at the Authentic Luxury Rooms. Neat and tidy little room within a short walking distance of the old town. Our sea view was only viewable from the bathroom, a lovely view when you’re sitting on the loo. We requested a deluxe double bed but this was two singles pushed together and unfortunately didn’t provide good support as the mattresses were too soft for our liking. The area is nice and quiet and close to a grocery store and to Split Ferry Port and main train station, very convenient location. Breakfast is very basic with mini croissants, spreads, a couple of cold meats and some cheese, fruit, yoghurt, coffee and juices. What really made our experience were the staff, everyone we dealt with were absolutely wonderful, and no request was an inconvenience. Everyone was very friendly and provided exceptional hospitality. Thank you for your excellent and gracious service.

Very nice and modern room less then a 10 minute walk to the Promenade. The rooms are actually in a different location about 5 minutes from where you check in We found out at checkin that they only accept CASH for their rooms, no credit cards. If you do not have the cash on hand they direct you to the ATM machine outside their door that charges 19.9% conversion fee.

Resepsjonen ligger for seg så du blir fulgt bort til en annen bygning hvor rommet ligger. Hyggelig personale som forklarte og anbefalte ting å gjøre og plasser å spise. Fint rom, noe utsikt. Noe slitt spesielt på bad. Nærhet til det meste. Frokosten var veldig enkel, men hadde brød, ost/skinke, yoghurt, kaffe, te... Alt i alt fornøyd med opphold og service!

Let me start by saying I'd give the Authentic Luxury Hotel 6 stars if I could! First thing I noticed is when I would ask questions, I'd get a quick response via Expedia. And the staff would ask questions, i.e., do you need transportation from/to the airport? As soon as we landed in Split, our driver was there with a sign to alert us who we were looking for. He was extremely friendly and made us feel welcomed to Split. We arrived a bit early and were greeted by Ivana (who was fabulous). She told us we could leave our luggage in the reception area (a small office where breakfast is also served) and that they would put them in our room for us when the rooms are ready. Since Americans are used to a "hotel" where it may be multiple floors in one building, it is different in Croatia. The actual hotel has 2 different buildings - 2 of the rooms were just a few steps away in the same building as the office. It was extremely warm & humid so the air conditioning was a welcome! Breakfast consisted of cheeses, meats, croissants, bread, pastries, boiled egg, coffee and juice which was a perfect start to the day. Since we were boarding a ship the next day, we needed help getting our luggage to the boat and we were assisted by Mario (hope I have your name right!). To walk to your boat with luggage is not unusual and we appreciated his help! When returning from our cruise (which was also fabulous) we stayed again especially since it was so wonderful the first time.

Really disappointed. While our room was nice, the entire building was being remodeled around us, I would not be so bothered by this fact if they had told us before we arrived. At one point when leaving the building I had to yell for them to stop so we could walk out the front door because debris was falling from the scaffolding that was all around the building. Really NOT fair ☹️

The hotel staff was very nice and attentive. Our room was on the 3rd floor and there is no elevators. The stairs are steep and dangerous. My daughter fell on the stairs they were very slippery. Breakfast was good.

Visite de Split, hôtel difficile à trouver sans GPS, mais très bien situé. Difficulté de se garer, néanmoins l'hôtel propose un parking à 20 €/jour.

Fantastic in every respect, great room, good breakfast, location quiet yet very close to everywhere. Staff very friendly and helpful, nothing was a problem.
