Hotell nära Split Rock Saddle Conservation Area

“Suitable for one or a few nights stay, and for longer. The location is good for travellers coming from the airport and going further to other places in Tasmania, and vice vers. It is also recommended for tourists to Hobart with surroundings travelling by car.0 ”

“Lovely old house yet fresh and comfortable. Excellent breakfast can be ordered from the ever smiling hostess Nina. We loved staying there.”

“It was a good place to stay if you're leaving early next morning. Big cabins with lots of space. ”

“Last second booking turned into a really nice stay. Old-building character with all the modern amenities. The host was more than gracious. 100% recommend.”

“Location is perfect, the room has everything that is needed, even a washing/ dryer machine. The only bad thing I could say is that the gym they had partnership with is closed and they don’t have a breakfast restaurant either”

“Can’t find a more peaceful place on earth, my new favorite stay! If you like nature and animals and want something more and only a hotel shud you come and visit hatchor manor! Feel like my new home, and the owner are great! Coming back soon, tanks for everything!”

“Very clean and well equiped kitchen. Seemed completely new!”

“Absolute scam – avoid Nightcap at Carlyle Hotel. Expedia must delist it. Booked through Expedia and paid several hundred dollars. Then came pre-check-in links that tried to charge me the full room rate again. Completely senseless. At check-in they demanded a $100 card deposit. Never properly disclosed. Normal hotels swipe for a $1 authorisation. Here they wanted a full hundred after I’d already paid. When I objected to this unreasonable demand the manager refused service and denied me the room....

“Outstanding historic guest house brimming with antiques and character. Beautiful gardens. Really comfortable bed and lovely shower. Very attentive staff. Would highly recommend as a great place for singles or couples.”

“Great property, great location, bed a bit too firm, and everything was great untill the white ute with the yellow flashing light showed up with his Doofa music vibrating the walls. Probably saved me bringing my alarm clock, but still not appreciated especially when he got out and walked somewhere leaving the door open snd the disco blasting.”

“Little bit dated no a/c , however we were provided with pedestal fans and with opened windows we slept well on a 27degree day. All said it was a good stay.”
