“Private, quiet, secure. Great location”

“We stayed in the Roost Haus for a girls weekend and it was idyllic! So peaceful, amazing views, pool, hot tub and pond…what else could you ask for? Well, the house itself was adorable, had all of the amenities we needed and more. We enjoyed ourselves so much, and so did my dog! We caught some great wildlife pics while we were there, including deer, frogs, bees. And the hosts had exceptional communication, made check in and out very easy, just what we needed. Can’t wait to stay again!”

“We loved this property, with all its charm and beautiful views. It’s a perfect place to get away from the city life, but close enough to so many little Texas towns. We loved the outdoor space and made sure to witness every sunrise from the front porch as it’s truly spectacular. We hope to visit again!”

“It was a great experience overall. The kids loved that it was a working ranch and there were animals all round the place. Had everything we needed. I do wish there had been some curtain on the windows, though!”

“There's several gates to get to Box 3, which makes it a little daunting to get through when you're coming back from a long day. I wish it had been noted that there was no central heat or air. The space heaters tripped the circuit breaker our first night, but they were quick to address it and comped us a day for the hassle, which was very considerate. The tight, steep spiral staircase was a bit challenging for our luggage. Another thing worth mentioning is that the refrigerator is very small,...
