“This was a really unique experience for us. It is an older historic bed and breakfast that we loved. We drove into the pasture to get to it and passed antelope and prarie dogs along the way. It was raining, so we didn't get to enjoy the sunset on the mountains behind. We sat by the fire in the main room and played a few games before retiring. The breakfast the next morning was served by the chef there and she was amazing, it certainly was a full breakfast and delicious! No tv's, but good...

“We actually switched rooms from the Doc Holiday to The Annie Oakley. The doc Holiday room does not have a bathroom. Make sure you check that before you book! Hotel is pretty amazing and definitely a rare find. If you are interested in American west history this is the place. Great little mercantile next door that serves breakfast and lunch and a couple of cool antique stores nearby.”

“The St James Hotel is well maintained for being 150 years old. Being able to see all the rooms and learning the history of the hotel was really cool. It is beautiful and quiet. We didn’t see any ghosts but we heard banging next door and foot steps outside our room. We highly recommend staying there. We stayed in the William F Cody room. William F Cody is also known as Buffalo Bill. BTW not all rooms have a bathroom in it. Some of the rooms you have to share a common bathroom.”
