Hotell nära Springmaid Beach

“The view was great and it’s right on the beach. The waterslides were NOT open for spring break, just on weekends. Having water slides all week was one of the reasons we chose this resort specifically and we were disappointed. Not a lot of dining options but the ones that were there were really good. Enjoyed the free mini golf course and free pier access. Seemed like at less half the days there was an elevator out of service for an hour or two so sometimes we had to walk around to alternating...

“Property is very outdated. The linens and pillows are very worn. There was only cable TV, which was a little frustrating (couldn’t change the input to HDMI to stream or play video game). With that being said the room was clean, it is perfectly located on the beach (big plus), and the staff was very friendly. I know what to expect now and will visit again for a day trip”

“The room had a stale smell and bed sheets were thin and severely worn. The carpet in the hallway is filthy and needs to be replaced. During the entire stay the floor we stayed on wrecked with the smell of marijuana; therefore, the hotel needs security to patrol the hall for smokers. ”

“We upgraded our stay, with a beach view and balcony. However, the door going out to the beach balcony. It's almost impossible to open up sometimes. Could not open it up, had the call maintenance 3 times and still couldn't fix it.”

“If i'm being 100% honest, for the price, wasnt bad. I was expecting worse. Room was clean and critter free, staff were actively cleaning. I missed the memo about pets being allowed but didnt affect my stay. There were some downsides like some loose panels in the bathroom and one that had a rusty nail behind it. The water pressure is quite low and not very hot. Parking is solid. No issues there. Property is definitely a mixed bag. ”

“Elevator doesn’t work, got stuck more than once, when we opted to take the some of the stairs are broken at the base which is a huge hazard coming down or going up from the 6th floor carrying items. I had a room with two beds, and one of the beds has something black at the bottom of the sheet, our balcony door did not slide open easy and had to be pushed open with force, bathroom door is way too close to the toilet where you can’t open/close the door all the way, staff was friendly. Pool was not...

“The room was a lot smaller than expected. The description said it was a double wide bed, but personally seemed like just a double bed. The fridge did not work and kept nothing cold, although it was plugged in. There was no shower curtain so water got everywhere with taking a shower which is crazy as a shower curtain is not expensive. The front desk person was nice but told us there was parking in the front, back, and side. When we went to park in the back, we got yelled at by 2 cleaning ladies...

“The lack of parking space you can only have one car per room also we get there and our balcony was not cleaned it was full of trash chicken bones roaches from weed”

“This was the worse beach experience ever. The room I will say was pretty decent 3 beds. Only one room had tv, fridge too small for barely anything, not enough towels and rags. We had 5 guest and only received for 3 people. The area is very loud, people on drugs, and no respect for others who are trying to rest. On top of that there was no one at desk thru the night. When it was time to check out it took 3 hrs for anyone to come to the desk. We weren’t able to go do anything when we woke to leave...
