"We recently returned to Story Hotel Seychelles for the third year in a row, and it continues to impress us every time. With its incredible location right on Beau Vallon Beach, it truly is a fantastic place to stay. The hotel offers a lovely pool area, a beautiful overall atmosphere, and outstanding restaurants. We especially love Seyshima and Trader Vic’s—both deliver exceptional dining experiences. A special mention goes to Tanya and the rest of the team at Seyshima, who are absolutely amazing. The service is impeccable, and the food is simply magical. We also noticed and appreciated some great improvements this year. The addition of refrigerators in the breakfast area is a nice touch, and we were very happy to see that the issue with pigeons—something we found disturbing last year—has been resolved. It’s also great to see that the hotel is investing in upgrades, such as new sunbeds, which helps maintain its high standard. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and we particularly enjoy the lovely balcony that comes with them. All in all, this hotel continues to deliver a wonderful experience, and we will most certainly be back for a fourth visit!"

"Mango House LXR Seychelles delivered one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had — and we travel a lot as a family. From the moment we arrived, we were met with exceptional warmth and care, and the level of service throughout our stay was simply outstanding. During our visit, one member of our family fell ill, and the staff went above and beyond in every possible way to support us. Their kindness and genuine concern made a difficult situation so much easier. A special thank you to Anna and Michael at breakfast, along with the incredible chef, who took such great care of us. Thomas at the bar kept us entertained and smiling all day long, and Boniface (“Jambo”) is truly one of the kindest souls we’ve ever met. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. The design is top-notch, with beautifully styled rooms, gorgeous pool areas, and an infinity pool overlooking the bay that is simply breathtaking. There’s also a charming small private beach to the side — magical, even if a bit tricky for swimming. We also loved the thoughtful touches like complimentary juices during the day and a lovely happy hour in the afternoons. If we had to mention one small downside, it would be that the dinner options didn’t fully live up to the price level. But honestly, that’s the only minor note in an otherwise flawless stay. This is truly a hidden gem. Don’t miss it — we will definitely be back!"

"Avani+ Seychelles exceeded our expectations and is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for a fresh, modern, and relaxing stay. Following the recent renovation, everything feels incredibly clean, stylish, and well-maintained — you really notice the attention to detail throughout the property. The staff were truly outstanding and made our stay extra special. A special mention goes to the team at Somewhere restaurant, who were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming every single day. The rooms are fresh and comfortable, with a modern design that makes it easy to relax. Our only minor drawback was that the balcony view wasn’t particularly exciting, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Breakfast was excellent — fresh, varied, and very tasty, with something for everyone. The restaurants across the resort are also top-notch, offering delicious, high-quality food at very reasonable prices. The beach views are absolutely magical and one of the highlights of the stay. Do note that swimming can be limited when the waves are strong, as only certain areas are suitable for bathing. Overall, a beautiful, clean, and welcoming resort with amazing staff — we would happily return."

"Hade kunnat vara ett bättre läge. Låg nära vägen och dåligt isolerade rum gjorde att man hörde det mesta. "

"Detta var vårat tredje besök på Silhuette Island. Det är en ö som vi verkligen gillar även om den är ganska olik övriga öar här på Seychellerna. Hit åker man om man vill ha avkoppling. Av bytet från Hilton till Niva märker man inte av mer än att skyltar har ändrats och eventuellt att frukost ingår då Hilton inte brukar ha det. Villan har allt man önskar sig och närheten till vattnet ger en extra känsla om man bokat en Beach Villa med Plunge Pool som vi hade. Sedan kan man diskutera om det var värt pengarna att ha en liten pool på baksidan så en vanlig räcker då trädgården mot havet är den samma. Servicen är genomgående mycket bra och vänlig. Anläggningen är fantastisk med massor att göra om man så önskar. Mycket fin pool om man föredrar det. Man kan också lämna anläggningen och utforska resten av ön med cykel eller till fots. Det enda vi är tveksamma till är om det var värt att betala dryga 1900 kr per dag för 2 för halvpension. Tyckte inte middagsbuffén motsvarade denna kostnad och det blev också lite tjatigt utan det hade varit bättre att äta på löpande räkning för det finns massa olika restauranger med allt från enklare rätter som pizza, burgare och pasta till olika typer av fine dining. Tar man halvpension får man bara tillgodoräkna sig cirka 1000 kr om man väljer Portobello eller Grann Kaz. Övriga kan man inte tillgodoräkna sig något. Detta är en stark rekommendation och ett klart alternativ till Maldiverna om man är ut efter något sådant."
