Halcyon Days: betyder - lugna, fredlig, tyst
Termen Halcyon Days har haft många betydelser sedan sitt ursprung i antikens Grekland.
Vi vill att du ska komma och bo och skapa din egen Halcyon Days berättelse.

Halcyon Days kan hittas på en lugn liten gata som heter Halcyon Grove i St Helens på Tasmaniens nordöstra kust.
Den mysiga bostad har ett stort däck på baksidan med utsikt ner till viken filtreras genom vackra stora tandköttet träd. En mycket trevlig plats att ta i den omgivande lugn.
Huset har två sovrum hålla fyra gäster och en öppen planlösning matsal, vardagsrum och kök.
Av gatuparkering finns och Halcyon Days har en stor inhägnad gård som kan passa väluppfostrade hundar som inte vill gå miste om familjen semester.
Lakan och handdukar för varje gäst är försedd liksom de andra små väsentligheter att göra din vistelse bekväm.

Huset är en kort promenad ner till Georges Bay, nära en av de många populära fiskebryggor och rakt på den väg som leder runt viken till affärerna på St Helens samtidigt i de öppna vyer.
Halcyon Days är perfekt beläget för att basera dig själv för att utforska norr längs kusten till Binalong Bay och Bay of Fire eller söder ner så långt som Freycinet eller gå upp till inlandet till Pyengana, Blue Tier och Derby.

Great stay

Nice touches at this property. Dogs catered for with some food and bowls. Some kids activities. Lots of extras in kitchen eg, coffee tea sugar and more. Nice location, car recommended but can walk to the water. Good amenities, comfy beds. Quiet area. Will return.

One of our worst holiday accomms

Tired and well past its best. The bathroom in particular could do with a serious make over. We concur with previous users who passed comments on the drive - it is appallingly bad to being almost beyond use. Other previous comments note the shower - frankly it is unsafe for even the most able bodied. But for the elderly and those prone to falls it is perilous. A simple solution would be a good non-slip bathmat - and, of course a grab rail.. Another concern for the aged are the loose rugs that shift and rumple up creating potential trip hazard. This was the first accommodation of its type we have stayed in that did not have electric blankets - end given how chilly the weather was they were needed. In regard to heating why has the heat pump been "locked on" to a single lowish temp with no way of increasing same or boosting the flow. Very strange! Also needed was some instructions on using the microwave - all these devices are different and without suitable use instructions they can be frustrating to use. Overall we were very disappointed with the accommodation and believe it to have been way overpriced compared to recent holiday stays we have enjoyed in Tasmania. Sorry.

Simplicity at its Best

Our third time at Halcyon Days so that speaks for itself. Fantastic views over looking George’s Bay and a lovely walk into St Helens in a relatively new path, we will be back.

Condiments

I feel that the lack of condiments let the place down a bit .Other places we have stayed in always had milk in the fridge, a variety of teas to choose from and coffee sachets t choose from,not everyone enjoys plunger coffee.I realise these are trivial points but they do make for a better stay.ps the jug didn't seem to want to turn off automatically.The rear deck is a big bonus

Cute Beach House Vibes

The home offers a beach house vibe that is relaxed, homely, and so well-presented. My mother and I felt immediate excitement as we entered the home and knew we were going to enjoy our stay. And it certainly did not disappoint. It was clean and well-furnished with everything we needed and so much more. The view to the bay from the huge back deck was just the cherry on top!

Lovely house in a great location

The house was perfect for us. A great size, neat and clean, and in a good location on a quiet street, but still within walking distance of the town. The house had everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay, but it would have been nice if the DVD player was available as advertised in the amenities list for the house - we had one day of rainy weather and took some DVDs along but couldn't watch them. We found other things to do so it wasn't a big deal, but perhaps update the property info to reflect this for future. We would come back to stay again :-)

Dog Pawrents look no further!

Loved our stay at Halcyon Cottage. Everything was super clean, the beds were amazingly comfy, the view from the balcony was glorious, and the property had all we needed for our stay. However the best part for us was the fully fenced, completely secure yard for our furbabies.

Cute cottage escape

A cute cottage with lovely decor and just the right size for four adults on a weekend stay. Shower could do with an update, but everything else was perfect for us. Hubby is very particular about noise levels anywhere we stay, and the quiet location away from the main high street was perfect.

St Helen’s Getaway
