“The cottage we stayed in was very nice and loads of space . An ideal location for trail running and long dog walks Threlkeld and keswick were not far away. Loved the doggy treats that were left out. Our only complaint would be that the tv in the lounge had no freeview channels . Had to mirror with my phone. The log burner was lovely and comforting. The ash tray was not emptied by the last guest . Also the welcome package in the kitchen. All the biscuits were well out of date . Otherwise...

“Our five nights in swallows lodge was the perfect location for a hiking trip in the hills around Keswick , you can walk out of the front door and on to a footpath in more or less any direction, swallows lodge, has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and two good bathrooms, and a lounge/ living room area to put your feet up in, only a bookcase with local interests was missing. “Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very large, modern and clean. Nice breakfast with a good selection of hot and cold buffet products. Very pet friendly. The location is right next to the lake with beautiful views. It is easy to get into Keswick either by boat, bus or walking alongside the lake. Highly recommend this hotel.”
