"Location location location! This resort is about 15 meter from beach, and the beach is really good! I had a room with w view towards the beach and I enjoyed it very much! The resort is within walking distance to the Rodney Bay center with supermarkets and malls. There is also shuttle service two times each hour to, and from, Bay Garden hotel, closer to center of Rodney Bay. The resort is also close to other restaurants in the area. The staff is very VERY friendly and provides service, always with a smile! All these are on the reosrts upside and If I return to St Lucia I will probably stay at the same resort. But there are some things I would like to be improved: The small deli shop needs better opening hours and more selection of, for exemple, medications. There also are only one restaurant and for a all-inclusive resort, there should be more to choose from (even that you are entitled to go to the other Bay gardens hotels restaurants too). The food at this restauran (High tide) is very good, but I would have enjoyed more kinds of food to choose from. BUT overall I liked the resort a lot! "

"Our stay at Sugar Beach was excellent. At the beautiful location between the Pitons we were greeted by our friendly butler who had prepared a nice welcoming for me and my pregnant wife. The entire staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive to my wife’s needs. We tried all the different restaurant options and everything from the lunch burger to the steak dinner was great. We especially appreciated the breakfast with all its options and peaceful atmosphere. Waking up to the sounds of tropical birds and the gentle breeze stroking the trees made the entire experience very calming and relaxing. Even though the beach itself was quite small, it didn’t feel crowded in any way. The white sand and clear water was dreamy and beautiful. Leaving Sugar Beach we spent time talking to our driver who provided us with so many fun facts about the island. He also told us about the community work that Sugar Beach does, which made our visit and feelings towards the hotel even more positive. My wife and I will definitely come back and next time we will bring our daughter."
