Hotell nära St Mark’s Church

“They had no record of our reaction (that we had paid confirmation through hotels.com. They charged us cash to get a room. (Options in the area and time we arrived extremely limited). Had to try and negotiate an 11 check out at 9 suggested he wanted us out by 10 (place had no other guests). Very noisey all night”

“The view is supreme. The room is very clean and quite well-appointed for the class of hotel. The location is very near to town just up the way to its hilltop perch. A good walk or short tuk tuk ride . The staff were friendly and helpful and the WiFi was good. I had reason to contact the manager and he responded quickly to sort out my issue. I highly recommend Mountjoy Ella.”

“Very charming little guesthouse right in Ella town but not on the main street. Nice breakfast served on the balcony. Hot water ran out on our first night but not on the second. ”

“Buona struttura, ottimo host, molto disponibile e cortese. Colazione tipica.

“A very nice owner who made an amazing breakfast. The room was nice and clean and had a stunning view. Very close to Ella city center and various restaurants as well as Nine Arches Bridge. I would really recommend this place!”

“ Nice pool, friendly staff, bra wifi”

“I was about to stay in Ella for 2 nights but this hotel has unfortunately made me to change my mind and I left earlier. There were long periods without electricity (where I saw neighboring buildings has it). Which also meant no internet. There were also no water in the shower. I told that to the two older gentlemen who work in the reception and they did something so that the water started to flow (cold), but without the possibility to turn in off now. A complete disaster. Not a single thought...

“We stayed at this amazing property for 3 days as a group of four and had a wonderful experience. The mountain views from our room were stunning, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast buffet had limited spread, but everything was delicious. The approach road can be a bit tricky, with a steep, narrow downhill stretch that accommodates only one car at a time. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property!”

“This was a very pleasant basic hotel with an extraordinary view of the valley. The staff were super helpful. The breakfast was plentiful. The AC worked well. The only catch was when the generator didn’t work during a brief brownout.”

“a lovely boutique hotel with amazing staff & good breakfast”

“The price point is way too high for what you get. We thought this would be a nice place but is very basic. You can find the same standard and view to much better place. The bed was old, the shower pressure was almost non existing, dripping almost when you had hot water. ”
