âI was unexpectedly in Cork for one night and I stayed at this lovely hotel. It was excellent location,the friendly staff at the reception let me check in early and gave me a quiet room with a bath. really nice breakfast and restauranf. the only think was that they had a added a breakfast for two on my roomservice bill but theysorted it out with no hazzle at all. gave me good advice on what to do and seeâ

âEtt utmĂ€rkt centralt belĂ€get hotell i charmiga Cork. JĂ€ttetrevlig och hjĂ€lpsam personal. Rym av högsta standard och en superb irlĂ€ndsk frukost. Ett stĂ€lle att komma tillbaka till!â
âLocation was a bit off, but the hotel was very fancy - good value for the money. Depending who was working you got different attitude serving you.â
âHotellet Ă€r nyrenoverat och frĂ€scht och kombinerar modern utrustning med fin unik stil. Mycket fint poolomrĂ„de med stor pool, bastu/Ă„ngbastu och jacuzzi.God frukost men aningen dyr (15 Euro). TillrĂ€cklig med gratis parkering pĂ„ hotellomrĂ„det. GĂ„ngavstĂ„ndet till stan trodde vi var kortare, det tog en bra stund att komma ner (och tillbaka uppför backen) och rekommenderas ej för barnfamiljer - anvĂ€nd hellre bil... âNice hotel that has preserved the traditional style with new comfort. Lovely personal at breakfast and the bar but unpleasant staff in the reception.â
âOne of the best customer service I have ever experienced - far above the expected both at check in, upgrade to a suit without request and personal greeting with complimentary coffee/tea and croissants despite early checkout, including free airport shuttle. A pity it was only for one night, would definitely book again.â
âThis is definitely a beautiful hotel. Staff is very friendly and down to earth, great welcoming when checking in.
I forgot my tablet when checking out and it was easy and convenient to pick it back up after work. They were very tentative and reached out to me quickly in this matter.
Rooms are old fashioned, but very nice and the beds are comfortable and you sleep great in them.

"Just across the street from another great hotel I visited three years ago. The Metropole hotel. I came with the bus from Dublin airport and when the bus stops at the end station itâs just a 3 minute walk to Isaacs Hotel. Hotel were quiet and a chill atmosphere. The staff very supportive and generous. "

"I stayed for one night only, during a business trip. I booked a room with a double bed, but was given a room with two single beds put together. I requested to change, explaining that I have a bad back, but was told that there were no rooms of that type available, and was told they canât do much for me, when the correct thing to do is to offer an upgrade where there is a double bed. Itâs absurd to have to sleep with two beds splitting up underneath oneâs back when one books a room with a king/queen bed.
I also requested to check out an hour later so I could go to the gym, given that my flight was late afternoon. I was abruptly told that they do not allow any late checkouts, despite the statement on the website of the hotel that informs guests that they always try to accommodate late checkouts, and guests should ask.
I travel roughly 150 days a year for work and can say that the service at the Dean Cork is rude, unfriendly, abrasive and just overall lousy.
Bed was cracking and springs could be felt. Cracks on tiles and walls and doors in the room.
The Dean Cork is all âstyleâ but no substance. "
