Beware! Inaccurate description and poor communication
Upon arrival the condo was very clean and equipped. Location and pool were fantastic and the kids enjoyed it. The next morning we were woken up by drilling noise that was very loud. It started right at 8am and lasted into late afternoon. We had to raise our voices and turn up the TV to hear anything. With small kids it was impossible for them to take afternoon naps and relax after a hot day at the beach. The owner Barb was notified about that, and she said that she thought the construction has ended and it would probably be only couple more days. Unfortunately it was there everyday for the two weeks that we stayed and will be there probably for the remainder of the summer. There was no mention of the “potential”major construction that is going on there and the owner still hasn’t updated the listing. At the end of our stay she checked again with us and apologized for it, but when asked about a partial refund she never responded and just ignored our message. On top of that the fan and light in the guest room had turned on multiple times at night and had woken up the kids. She never responded to that either. Just wish the owner would be more considerate with tenants, and not ignore them.
