“The room was spotless and had a great view over the river to Nora Battys house. Full English breakfast was excellent as always . All staff very friendly and helpful. This is our 5th time staying here and will definitely be back . Thank for another great night Elephant and Castle team :)”

“Parking was a nightmare but soon sorted out. Service was above and beyond, owner driving around until he found a fish and chip shop open and bringing us back a lovely meal. Super breakfast with lots of choice.”

“Wow, what a nice place. The staff and the restaurant were great. The place is old, has high ceilings and single glass windows. Here comes the problem. It was freezing cold. The room got ok after a while but the bathroom was just freezing cold. They should think about a solution to better insulate the windows.”

“Trevligt bemötande av personalen, bra rum. Mkt fräscht badrum vilket jag uppskattar, då standarden inte alltid är den bästa i England. Rejäl, god engelsk frukost, men även flingor, yoghurt, juice m.m. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta hotell då priset är otroligt bra med god standard och frukost! Trevlig pub/restaurang finns alldeles i närheten!”

“What a great hotel. Can't say enough positive things about my experience. Room was lovely, clean, good value, great location and ambience, but the service and food were even better. I had early starts both mornings of my stay and it was not too much bother for Helen on the front desk and Paul?, the chef to open the kitchen slightly early for me. The food was wonderful and good value and Helen couldn't have been more helpful. This is what an independent hotel / restaurant should be like. Thanks...
