“This house was in an ideal location for visiting Luray. We were minutes from downtown and the caverns but had a lot of privacy and a great view of the mountains from the front porch! “Quaint cottage with comfortable living space and bonus outdoor lounge chairs to enjoy an afternoon book. The property is within 30 mins of hiking trails in Shenandoah National Park. We really appreciated the ability to get to Main Street high end restaurants and an ice cream shop that had delicious flavor choices. We enjoyed ourselves and the owner was quick responding to questions. ”

The home is roomy.(there were 12 of us)...with the two kitchen tables upstairs for everyone to sit at. The location to the ski resort is perfect. The kids enjoyed the game room. May be a good idea to put electrical covers on the electric socket next to the lower bunk bed, we didn’t trust our toddler to stay on this bed for that reason, but everything else was perfect. “Great place for our ladies weekend. The house had everything you could need and more. We were a group of friends staying for a long weekend and loved the house. The owner was extremely helpful and reached out directly as soon as I booked. Then he checked in again before our trip with helpful information and tips. We appreciated all the amenities on site and how well stocked it was. I’ve stayed in lots of rentals and loved that we didn’t need to remember towels or soap or trash bags or anything...

“The house was clean and quiet. I would suggest some blackout curtains. I didn't feel comfortable getting dressed there. Also at night the lights come thru. Maybe a thicker throw blanket for the downstairs area is drafty compared to the upper floor. Maybe update appliances. Waffle naker, Keurig, Air Fryer and equal amounts of dishes downstairs in the kitchen are.”

“We had a great time staying at the Squirrel’s Nest. The location is secluded but still only 15 minutes away from Shenandoah. The cabin was warm & cozy and a perfect escape from everyday life. Hot tub was a plus!”

“This has become an annual trip for my family. Very relaxing. Love spending hours at the rec center. The property is cool. Actually received brand new living room furniture on our second day. Only complaint would be the out dated TVs in the bedroom. I’m sure they’ll be changing those soon”
