“We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The owner was very responsive to our queries! The cottage was clean… however more attention does need to be paid to behind doors. Behind the doors, there were hairs and in one case an insect that had been squished but not cleaned from the wall. The beds were comfortable and we felt comfortable in the cottage and area. It was a great location to visit the island. ”

“The cottage was nice and clean. It was in the perfect location for our day trips, and very close to North Rustico. I gave 2 star for listing accuracy, as we thought was on a beach spot and could kayak right from the cottage. This was not the case. There is no direct access to the bay, a staircase to the waterfront is quite ways away. This was a big seeking point to booking this cottage and was a disappointment. “Good overall experience. Some of the features are tired and would benefit from some sprucing up (door latches, towels, utensils). Fire pit and free fire wood was excellent. We could not get the Sauna to work, however we did not ask for additional assistance either so it is possible we missed a step.”

“This small two bedroom cottage is in a great location, within walking distance of the beach and an easy drive to many attractions and great eating spots. The kitchen was well equipped with all the cooking utensils you would need. Location was very quiet and would be great for kids.”

“We are very happy with our experience at this vacation home. The cabin is cozy with some modern upgrades, such as new windows, heat pump and a nice little bathroom. It is genuinely minutes away from all the sites and beaches (and restaurants!) in the area. We were thrilled with the ability to bring our two small dogs with us. “The picture looks better than the actual. Door was made of planks. Floor shook and gave impression the cabin base was unstable. Porch boards broken. Dishes/cutlery/utensils would not be acceptable at a garage sale. Internet was sporadic. Bathroom was updated and clean - a big plus. Host was gracious in response to our visit cut short by Fiona storm. ”
