Start of Tassie road trip
Loved the peace and quiet at Ivy’s but still close to village. Stanley is a beautiful place to visit, must go up the Nut and Highfield Estate is a great look at the past. Arthur River cruise and the Tarkine Drive are also great trips from Stanley.

We adored Stanley and were very comfortable with our stay at Ivy's. We found everything was within walking distance including the Nut and local supermarket. The house itself was very cozy and we enjoyed it, particularly the back deck which looked out over all the beautiful farmlands around Stanley. The only thing that would have made it better would be wifi. Otherwise, perfect! We would stay again.

Little Gem
We enjoyed our stay at Ivys, the cottage had everything we needed, bed was comfortable and the location is a short walk to all the eating places. We will definitely stay there again when we visit Stanley

Cosy and comfortable
The cottage has everything you need and more for an enjoyable stay. It is roomier than in the pictures, otherwise as described, and perfectly good for short or long holidays. Special thakyou to Virginia for accepting our late cancellation last year due to some health issues.

A cosy and fully self contained cottage in the picturesque town of Stanley. Great to have our own laundry facilities. My favourite part of the property was the large and nicely furnished deck. Perfect in a balmy evening. I was unable to see that the property offered WiFi which is unusual in today's world. There was no door between the bedroom and bathroom. A minor issue but a bit unusual. Stanley has a couple of very nice cafes on the main street with lovely views over the town.

Perfect location & cute cottage
Central to everything in Stanley. Gorgeous cottage with cows at back fence. Any issues were dealt with rapidly. Plenty of room for me, husband & 2 grown children. Wish we had stayed longer. Perfect 😊

Wonderful place to stay
This lovely little home is in a great quiet location yet close to lots of attractions and walking distance to the beach. It is well maintained, very clean and comfortable. A lovely backyard deck to enjoy a drink and watch the sun go down. I would be more than happy to stay here again and would highly recommend it to everyone. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

Thanks Denise , the TV does pivot , so will face the big couch to make viewing easier . I can’t switch the couches as the sofa bed is too big . But otherwise thank you !

Lovely cottage in Stanley
Lovely holiday cottage facing the green paddocks yet still close to the centre of town and the Nut. Stanley is a lovely heritage town under the Nut. Spectacular chairlift ride and walk up top. Cottage is within walking distance of this and also the penguin viewing site. Cottage is cosy and well equipped. Virginia was an attentive and helpful host.

we only had a couple of days with Stanley being our base for touring the Tarkine Wilderness so werent at the cottage very much except sleeping. we found it very comfortable, clean and perfect for our stay.

It's such a nice place with a cool decoration. Perfect for couples, comfortable, clean , excellent kitchen pretty clean even inside the cupboard which is so hard to find it.

We loved our stay at Ivy’s. Very homely with everything we needed including pepper & salt ! We had stayed in two other self catering units on our trip & missed having salt especially.Ivy’s had everything we needed. The sheets were beautiful & the bed comfortable. It was in a good position. Our only regret was we didn’t book for longer. We would certainly recommend Ivy’s @Stanley. Julie & Keith

The accommodation is well located with a lovely sunny veranda and large garden to enjoy any time of day and spectacular views. Our stay was very comfortable with everything we needed. I hope to return one day.

excellent cosy cottage
stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the modern comfort of this tastefully decorated cosy cottage. Visit Highfield house if you can - you can see it from the lounge door at night as it is lit up in orange! Weather in Stanley can be changeable though so make sure you can use the Chair lift (or walk up) the Nut while it is favourable. Arthur river cruise (red boat) is well worth the drive.
