“This cabin and host are fantastic. Perfect location for things around Harrisonburg and Staunton. Ferne and family are very gracious host. The cabin was stocked with anything we could never need and back ups of things if we forgot something. Beautiful view from the porch swing. Highly recommend! ”

“Its the giant house on the side of the road, parking is by the tree on the hill. Arriving at night was hard to tell, with many small houses around the big house, and drive ways small. Dont let this fool you, this is to help you find it, as the place is amazing to stay. There are many rooms to stay in this house. This one is on 2nd floor, around tight nit stairs on top left. Access to the Tea House does involve a handful of gracefully landscaped steps down to it’s private outdoor porches. A great spot for coffee in the morning! Will return. ”

“We really enjoyed this home. It’s in a great location with several hikes nearby. Close to the Appalachian Trail. Monticello & Shenandoah are an hour away. It’s a very peaceful property. It’s very well stocked. Kuerig with k-cups, some seasonings, salt, pepper, etc. Little things you often don’t find in VRBOs anymore! The host was great with communication and checked in a few times to make sure all was well. We would definitely stay here again!”
