Hej och välkommen till Mt Defiance Cabin, en del av Nelson Creek Semesteruthyrning! Våra mysiga stugor ligger inbäddat på 2 lugna hektar med utsikt över Columbia River och omgivande Cascade Mountains. Skamania Lodge, Guds bro, Mt Hood, Dog Mountain, Multnomah Falls, White Salmon, Hood River och Portland är bara några nära destinationer. Gott om parkering för båtar och husvagnar. Mt Defiance stuga är en varm och bekväm plats där du kan fly, koppla av och varva ner i denna vackra miljö. Inom några miles hittar du golfbanor, brygga pubar, restauranger, bondmarknader, affärer, vattenfall, vingårdar, kite boarding, vindsurfing, stå upp paddling, segling, kajakpaddling, vandring, fiske och många andra fritidsaktiviteter. Portland och dess flygplats är en lätt 45 minuters bilresa. Very nice modern and nicely decorated cabin, but with some awkward attributes. Dining table and chairs tiny. No washer and dryer or dishwasher. So, a stay of more than a few days would not be considered.

When we pulled into the property, we were greeted by 10 to 15 wild turkeys. It was awesome to see them just walk around the car. When we opened the door to the house it felt like a home. Clean, comfortable and cozy. The views were outstanding. We were blessed to actually run into Libby and Craig at the property. Just two wonderful people. We would stay here every time we visit.

This is a great cabin in a fun area of Washington. We stayed in the same cabin last year and it was the perfect place to come back to after hiking in the area. This year was too hot for hiking so we spent a lot of time on the Stevenson waterfront, and it was so nice to come "home" to the cool, clean cabin. It has everything we need for a fun getaway. The welcome goodies were very appreciated. And Backwoods Brewing was even better than last year. We hope to stay in this cabin again.

Cute, tiny home that has everything you need and a great view

Libby and Craig are great hosts! Their place is perfect for a couple and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Their property is convenient, quiet, and has a good view of the Gorge. I highly recommend it!

Wonderful home base for exploring the Columbia River Gorge

This cabin was perfect for two. It was conveniently located for our hiking and trail running adventures and the town of Stevenson had everything we needed for stocking up on groceries as well as different restaurant options. The cabin was modern and clean and the hosts provided thoughtful touches that made us feel at home. We enjoyed the open space, view of the river, and watching deer and wild turkeys from the back and side porches. We would love to return and would recommend this cabin to friends or anyone looking to explore the area.

AMAZING!! 😍

Sunrises over the mountain out the front door. A herd of Elk 50+ strong grazing out front one morning. 20minutes in any direction from amazing waterfalls. Host was quick with responses and left us a bunch snacks! We loved this little cabin and 10/10 will be recommending to friendsa

Great, peaceful location

We had such a nice time staying in this cabin. Beautiful hikes are short drives away, and we had fun checking out local brewpubs -- I especially recommend Backwoods Brewing. The cabin had everything we needed. Thanks, Libby! We're already looking forward to coming again next year.

Nice Quiet getaway

Loved our stay

This little cabin was perfect for our little getaway! We loved the peaceful setting! Everything was very clean and lovely. Stevenson is minutes away and has a nice grocery store and local restaurants. Great hiking close by - Beacon Rock, Falls Creek Falls, and Wahclella Falls were some we really enjoyed. Being greeted by a thank you note and snacks was a nice touch. One of our favorite VRBOs we've stayed at for sure! Thank you for a great stay!

Had a nice stay!

Loved the king size bed and air conditioner! Has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. I would say you need a car to get to the cute, well equipped downtown area. Utilized the deck a ton and enjoyed the deer, turkey, and plethora of other wildlife. Would not be good for work as the internet wasn't super strong and would drop out occasionally, not terrible, just had to log back in.

Very clean, quaint cabin in the woods!

As advertised, nice 400-square foot cabin, with separate bedroom, bathroom and living space. Full kitchen amenities, nicely appointed decor. Very clean cabin with a thoughtful welcome basket. Nice porch with a view of the Columbia River. Would definitely return!
