“We stayed at this location for the Madeline Island Marathon, and it was a lovely house! Very close proximity to the ferry to Madeline Island. Large open kitchen was nice as well and everything was very clean.”

The place has a well stocked kitchen with just the right amount of stuff to prepare meals. The owners were great to work with! “This is such an adorable cottage just outside of Bayfield. The decor is fabulous and comfortable. We loved the Poochie's Porch to drink coffee and read books. Very easy interaction with owners. They were prompt with texts and thoughfully checked in with us. Higly recommend!”

“The beach on this property is amazing and cannot be beat! We spent hours enjoying the beautiful view and nice sand. The house is a manufactured home, but it was very clean and comfortable for our family of four. It also has a large yard and two fire pits (one at the beach) to enjoy. The outdoor shower was a fun perk as well. I would definitely book it again.”

“We (my dog and I) thoroughly enjoyed our days at Weidel Cottage. Took walks in the evening to take pictures of the sunset, found the Madeline Museum quite interesting, and enjoyed our morning coffee taking in the view of Lake Superior,”

“This was a great spot to relax, Hiking at the state park was beautiful and hanging out with the locals at the Beach Club listening to them tell me their stories and the history of the island. The property was quiet, clean and cozy. My tip is bring food on the island, not all restaurants are open and the store is limited.”
