“My family and friends came up for the American Birkebeiner ski race. We were unable to get into our usual place so thought we would try this place. It’s a very clean hotel with comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We liked it so much we decided to stay again next year. ”

“This was our second year at the chip lodge. we liked it so much the first year that we had to come back. the first year we showed up there was maybe 15 people and the house easily accommodated us. its a rustic vibe. things are old and perhaps that is the charm and what we like about it. the highlight for us is definitely the slow cruises on the pontoon boat as we explored the lake. “Our family of 20 rented this resort. There was plenty of room for everyone. There was plenty of space for dining. The lodge and cabins are older but very clean. Tons to do a the beach with canoe, paddle boats and kayak. We are looking for a weekend for next year to come back! Property manager Caleb was very good. ”

The yard and lake view were wonderful. Having access to kayaks, rowboat, pontoon, water toys, etc, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Would recommend 10/10! ”
