“ We had a very pleasant stay! The house is bright, open, airy, very clean and comfy! The kitchen was well equipped and had ample counter space. The bedrooms were roomy and the bathrooms looked new. The photos are accurate. The house is located in a quiet spot in the woods up a steep dirt road. We heard a lot birds in the morning and saw a black bear. The location is convenient to Waterbury and Stowe. We enjoyed the hiking, biking, swimming and kayaking in the area. Tom replied...

“This house was absolutely lovely. We really enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect house to relax after a long day. We all slept well in comfortable beds and the kitchen was perfect to cook in. ”

The only thing I would suggest in the future in window air conditioning units. Vermont is just getting hotter than usual. “Property exactly as described. Older house, but very clean - even the downstairs furnace room/laundry room. I was impressed by that! The layout was fun- very spacious, can sleep lots of people. It was a charming place to stay. We used it as our home base for the week while we visited Kennebunkport & Portland for a couple days. Location is perfect & quiet. Quick & easy to get to downtown Stowe.”
