“I don't think the location could get any better! Right downtown behind the shops, right next to the bakery and coffee shop. This was the perfect little cabin to stay at. Nice and clean, two AC units that kept it nice and cool. We would definitely plan to stay here again. We also had access to a pool which was a huge hit with my kids. ”

“For more than a year my husband and I planned a family get away with our two adult children and their families. Due to circumstances beyond our control our plans changed a month before the originally planned trip. It turned out to be a blessing because we found this lakefront cottage! “A very convenient place for visiting many attractions. We visited Mackinac Island, Charlevoix, Alpena and Sturgeon Bay on day trips. House was clean and comfortable. Wood paneling, cabinetry and sturdy furniture brought back great memories. We loved the easy beach access. The views from the house were fantastic.”

“This was my first ever booking of a VRBO or any other property. I feel like the bar is set way too high now and I have so much to say that I don't even know where to start.While the pictures are good, getting there in person you will quickly see how special this place is. The property is secluded from the road by about 40' of dense tree line. Beautiful clean sand from the beach to the front door of the property. I am not sure when the place was renovated but the owner did a phenomenal job...

Very easy access to area attractions, a great home base for day trip travels. Being directly on the water was a super peaceful place to have coffee in the morning and lay on the dock at night to sky watch. ”

“This was one of our favorite rentals we have ever been to. It fit 6 of us very comfortably. The house was clean and welcoming. It had all the amenities you could want inside and outside. We had several fires in the fire pit and took the kayak out on the river a few times. This property is in a great location where we were able to visit three of the lakes. We would highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. ”

The scenery is absolutely stunning and it is not too far away from any activity but far enough away that you feel completely at peace. I have stayed at many B&Bs and this is by far one of the best. So clean and beautiful. I will definitely be staying there again!”
