The booking system through Expedia was terrible. I believe it’s an associated website of Abritel and it appears the owner of the properties instructions didn’t carry over to Expedia. We subsequently had very little instruction as to get access to the property.
Weather this was the fault of the owner or not, once the owner was made aware of this they weren’t very understanding or helpful. They kept telling me instructions were ‘emailed’ when I hadn’t received anything. They didn’t take any accountability or apologise for any inconvenience, and their communication was in my opinion immature.
The room had a few issues, it had dust built up in places, the light from appliances at night was very bright (I had to go and switch everything off at the power socket), the kettle was disgusting, the doors had dirt from people’s hands and the fold out bed for our 4 year old collapsed under barely any weight and we had to sit the mattress on the floor.
It has a good location for the town centre and Christmas market, and would probably suit someone for a night, but overall I wouldn’t stay there again.
