“Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult.”

“Julie and I had a fabulous stay. The Cottage is decorated beautifully, and the little touches put in by Barry and Angela were much appreciated. The setting is quiet and tranquil, the kangaroos and variety of bird species allows you to get back in touch with nature. Just the sort of holiday we were looking for. “My partner and I very much enjoyed our long weekend stay, we had everything we needed and more to make it an extra special experience (without giving away too much for future guests). Property was clean and comfortable, we particularly enjoyed toasting marshmallows in the fire and drinking some local wine that hosts had provided. Thank you Tracie and Ashley for being amazing hosts, it was truly an unforgettable weekend. ”

“We loved our stay in Crafters West. Julie was terrific - always responsive and never intrusive. The cottage was private, extremely comfortable and with adorable touches that made it very enjoyable. “The cutest little cottage that had personality and charm and made us feel like we were on holidays. We really loved being able to light the fire each night and snuggle up on the comfy couches. The backyard was also a gorgeous space with lots of seating options, our one year loved exploring (and eating fresh cherry tomatoes from the veggie patch!) We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rebook if we were holidaying in the area again! Thank you to the lovely hosts.”

Gem B&B close to city center
" A beautiful little bed and breakfast in a Jane Austen like setting. We had the lady Jane room, a large room with plenty of space, private bath and a small pantry. Room has everything you could ask for and then some. Breakfast was prepared and readily available in the fridge and cupboards and we handled everything ourselves. We had breakfast in the extraordinary garden, what a gem of a place that was! Room did not have individual Aircon, but it was cool and nice so apparently they controlled that centrally. Our host Joy lived up to her name, she was super friendly and informative. The place is within walking distance from all places in the city. "
