Hotell i Strickland Ketel

“It was cosy and we enjoyed the family room!”

“House is clean and tidy. The kitchen has everything we need. Water pressure and temperature in all bathroom are perfect. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The heater in ground floor got very loud noise after few hours central heating been turn on. Need to turn up the heating,(e.g. from 0 to 2, from 2 to 3)to stop the noise. There were high pitch "beeps" from ground floor which woke everyone in house at 3am and 3:30am on the first night. Sounds like the smoke detector but we were not sure. However,...

“Trevligt hotell på fin plats”

“Kändes genuint, och relativt lugnt.”

“Nice, Big Room! Beautiful Decorated House. Helpful and Friendly staff.”

“Fantastic service and feelgood place:-) ”

“The reason I haven’t scored 5 is that Expedia sold us a room that had issues with noise / cooking smells as it’s above the kitchen and is noisey and smelly when the staff are cooking. We stayed in a room named Helvellyn and Expedia didn’t state any issues with any rooms. “Bra brittisk frukost.”

“Excellent country hotel, not too far from Windermere. Seems to be a dog and dogowners haven! I really liked the presence of the cute dogs. Surroundings very lovely. Please be aware that there are no restaurants in the vicinty and hotel has limited capacity in theirs. After a full day on the lake we came back to the hotel and no dinner😡”

“ウィンダミアに行くときは必ずここに泊まります。 今回は3泊しましたが、あいにく体調が完全では無く、ホテルでの夕食は1度しか食べられなかったのが残念です。 食事もスタッフの対応も、そして庭園も含めてゆったりと過ごせる隠れ家にしたい場所です。”

“Had such a lovely stay. I felt very welcomed and breakfast was amazing! ”

“Lovely room. We booked the dog friendly room and we had dog bowls, and a doggy treat pack including toy, treats & poo bags. Nice little touch! Great food as always, lovely full English breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Would definitely recommend.”

“Very helpfull and friendly staff especially Morgan and Megan. Room clean and tidy with a very comfortable bed. Excellent views of Lake Windermere. Food was delicious with superb gluten free options”
