“The week went by real quick. The cabin was as describe and more. Inside the cabin had everything you need from a coffee maker, snack's, foil. No need to go buy any household goods you may have forgot the cabin had it. Wood for fire pit was great; we sat by the fire pit and made smore's which was my first time for me. The area had so much to do we need to go back. We all love the cabin and the towns around. The kids and I played the video game. Great Time would do again.”

She's leaving for college in the Fall and things have been so hectic lately so we really needed a "slow down" The birdhouse was the perfect retreat. The home is cozy and so cute - and the surrounding area is ultra peaceful. We hiked, explored the town and made a lot of memories in this little secluded paradise. “The cabin was exactly as we'd pictured it -- plenty of room for three adults and an easy walk or drive to trailheads on the Appalachian Trail. The hike from the cabin up to the AT and then to Preacher Rock was delightful (about 10 miles round trip). “A beautiful place to stay! The home was clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. While having a TV in the bedrooms would have been a nice touch, it wasn’t a big deal for us. The property sits up a fairly steep road—4WD isn’t absolutely necessary, but it definitely made the drive easier. The backdrop was stunning, with gorgeous mountain views even in March. Communication with the owner was smooth and effortless. Overall, a fantastic stay!”
