Vår timmerstuga heter "Om Greene gräset växer. Om du vill komma undan till en söt, vacker 3 sovrum, 2 badrum timmerstuga på 3 + tunnland helt underbara land, det här är din nästa semester plats! En liten bäck rinner genom fastigheten och körs under Bethel vägen till Watauga River. Vid floden kan du fiska, slangar eller bara spela i floden och svalka.

Det finns en stor braskamin i vardagsrummet. På bottenvåningen finns en drottning sovrum och ett badrum, tillsammans med en tvättmaskin och torktumlare rum. Köket är fullt utrustat för alla dina matlagning behov. Matsalen och vardagsrummet kommer att lägga till den mysiga atmosfären. På övervåningen finns 2 sovrum, ett med en drottning säng och en annan med en enkelsäng, plus en dra ut tvilling rulla. Det finns ett badrum på övervåningen mellan de 2 sovrum. Koppla av på verandan eller akterdäck på rockers eller gungor. På baksidan veranda har en trevlig propan grill och hela källaren kan användas för spel natten.

Denna stuga byggdes 1985. Det är bara några miles till Watauga Lake, Beech Mountain skidåkning och du kan köra bara några minuter längre för att nå Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain, slangar på Hawksnest & Appalachian Ski Mountain. Boone är en stor college stad för Appalachian State University, plus har shopping, restauranger, filmer. Valle Crucis är bara ca 5 miles away och är hem till Mast General Store och den berömda Candy Barrel. Blowing Rock är också i närheten som har otroligt unika butiker och är hem till Tweetsie Railroad. Denna stuga har mycket enkla poäng tillgång till Blue Ridge Parkway och ligger bara 30 miles away för Nascar Races i Bristol, TN. Höjden på detta område är cirka 3400 "och ger några av de bästa utsikterna i världen, särskilt när löven ändrar under högsäsong.

Beautiful, rustic cabin! The property is cozy and quiet, and perfect for internet-free relaxing! There was plenty of room in the cabin for an adult family of four and our dog. The outdoor property is well-maintained and spacious.

We stayed at the cabin July 9-12, 2025. The cabin was the perfect place to relax after a long day of sightseeing! There was plenty of room for our family of 5. We did not cook any meals during our stay but the kitchen seemed to be adequately equipped if meals were prepared with plenty of cooking utensils and pots and pans. It was nice that we were able to bring our fur babies with us on this trip! The morning of our departure we saw two deer in the back yard!

Cute cozy cabin

Super cute and cozy, perfect location, loved the property. It’s seems secluded but still close enough to everything you need. I seen other reviews about the neighbors dogs. The only time I heard the neighbors dogs was when I took my dog outside. But even then it was not bad at all and couldn’t hear anything inside. Overall the place was super cute and loved staying there! The only down fall for me was the beds. Probably the most uncomfortable beds I’ve slept in. We were worried about the driveway and snow but just parked our one vehicle at the top of the drive and walked to the front door no problem!

Wonderful NC Retreat

This great moountain cabin is a fantaftisti claxce to get awat form it all. My wif, child an i wanted to wuiet place to spend the alst few days of our hiliday and this checlced all the boxes, Clean quiet and rustic. Just the typ eof cabin we wanted.

Cozy Cabin

We stayed here for Thanksgiving 2024 as we have family close by. This home is exactly as listed. It was very cozy and comfortable for our family of 4. We kept the wood fire burning as it was quite cold outside. Bonus is there is a guy who sells wood just down the hill. My boys enjoyed the swing outside and exploring the woods in the back. I prepared many Thanksgiving dishes in the kitchen and found the kitchen had everything I needed. The home also has extra pillows, towels and blankets. We were very happy with our stay. Would stay again.

Vacation in Sugar Grove

Cabin was clean. We stayed for 3 nights and did not hear any dogs barking at anytime during our stay. Stairs outside around back are slippery. If you want to get to the bottom of yard use the grassy hill. Hosts were great and answered all my questions about the listing.

Such a perfect little getaway!

It was a very cute cabin with everything we needed. My 14 month old loved exploring with us in the woods. Everything was very clean and for the most part as kid friendly as it could be.

Great Family getaway!!

The cabin is actually what you would think about in the Mountains of NC. It is decorated very nicely with country antiques and very cozy. The drive time to local attractions and sites is not bad at all and gives you a chance to enjoy the local’s atmosphere. If you hunting for a Christmas tree farm during your stay there are plenty around in the area. The Cheese Factory in West Jefferson is about 45 minutes away and is a most to go see. They have some great antique stores in the area. Boone and Blowing Rock are both just a short drive with numerous shops and Antique stores to keep you busy. If you are into skiing,mountain biking, or fishing you will not be disappointed. Great place hope to visit again soon.

Comfortable and roomy digs reasonable distance from Blue Ridge. No views of mountain vistas from the deck, but situated in a lovely wooded area surrounded by trees (for us) in glorious fall foliage. As noted by other reviewers, at night we could hear neighbor's dog barking, but it was not like it was so close and/or loud that it set our dogs off or kept us awake. With two baths and three bedrooms, this place can't be beat for a group who want to split costs and keep expenses down. Not the poshest VRBO I've stayed at, but more than adequate and an outstanding value. I would recommend to friends and I would stay at again.

Perfect

This little cabin was perfect for us. We have family that is right up the road, so being so close was amazing. It’s a great cabin. No Wi-Fi, but we weren’t there to be on our phones. Easy communication and easy to get to and into. Will Definitely book again.

Nice house

The house was nice to stay in. We didn't spend much time in it because the location is so close to places to visit like blowing rock and grandfather mountain and tweetsie railroad. The owners were easy to get in touch with before and after check in. You will definitely enjoy the privacy and wildlife staying here.

Not up to par

We could never get the heat warm enough. Plus, I am on oxygen and the propane heat was not good for me. If I had known it was propane I never would have booked. The couch was very awkward. You had a sense you were sliding forward all the time. I had to lay down in order to feel comfortable on the couch. The main b croon stayed cold. All heat seemed to travel upstairs which I could no go up and down. When trying to sweep, the only brooms bristles kept breaking off and there was no dustpan. We brought a portable vacuum and used it to vacuum up the bristles etc…. This cabin is cute, but not structured for elderly. Bathroom was in strange location. The trash dump was closed on Sunday so we had to ride around Boone to look for one, would have been nice to know other locations. I blame myself for not asking more questions, but when it advertised 3 acres I assumed we would Hhave some privacy and yard we could actually walk around in. The dogs next door barked constantly. We have stayed in many vrbo cabins, but never had to bring all supplies needed. Paper towels, toilet paper,foil, etc…. We always left dry goods to help next renters out, which most renters do. Just wish our trip would have been more pleasant. The propane gas topped the list though. Very tough to breath at times. Owners were very cordial in our advance stay and always responded very quickly. I just should have ask more questions.
