“We loved the house and all of its charm. The view was amazing. Loved watching the freighters on their way to/from the Locks. We were there during both hot days (85) & cold (40). The ceiling fans kept the place very comfortable during the heat & the furnace kept us cozy when the weather turned. Great location with an amazing view! Convenient to gas, places to eat, groceries, and more. Host was responsive & helpful. We would love to return again!”

“This was a girls weekend for my mom, her sister and my friend. The property is very nice and there is a nice place to sit where you can watch the boats pass by. The large picture window in the living room is also great for this. The seating in the living room is great for relaxing and visiting. Appreciated the timely and clear communication with the host.”

“Large house with lots of room! We are a family of 7 and there was definitely room for more. The views are great and falling asleep with the windows open listening to the waves was perfect! The house is under a bit of construction but we didn’t mind, nothing that prevents you from living life normally. The yard is in need of a clean up but again nothing that prevents you from living life. The beach is beautiful!!”

“A group of us wo were volunteering at the FIRST Robotics Event at LSSU stayed. It was great to have a comfy place to stay even though we didn't get to spend much time at this beautiful property!”

“Great place to stay for a bit! Bedding and furniture were clean and in good repair. The house smelled wonderful. Hostess made the place seem like a safe place to unwind from the busy city life. The only thing that I would have love to have was some patio furniture. But it is early in the season so hopefully the hostess will put it out soon :) great place”

“The host was very responsive, the home was clean and well taken care of! When I spoke to the host a month before our arrival, she said the dog fence likely wouldn’t be up, but when we got there it was up! SO helpful since we have 2 big dogs, was so easy to just let them go outside. We absolutely loved our stay for our first trip to SSM, would definitely book again! Only downside is limited parking - but we only had the one vehicle so it was no issue for us! ”

“We came up for LSSU graduation with the grandparents, my husband & I and our adult daughter. The place was perfect!!! We had room to be together or separate. The multiple bathrooms made it easier for everyone to get ready for the day. We had dinner on the deck one night & at the dining room the next due to weather. We VERY much enjoyed watching the ships go by as well. I would highly recommend!!!”

“We had a wonderful time. The house was nice and very clean! The kitchen was fully stocked. There was plenty of linens, blankets, and pillows for everyone. The beds were comfortable. The shower in the master bath was amazing. The host was very helpful and was easy to communicate with. The location of the house was perfect, it was close to all the attractions we went to.”
