This is the Shuttle Discovery which now resides for all to see at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy museum near Dulles Airport. An overflow museum of the Smithsonian Air and Space museum, this magnificent museum showcases some of the more historical and experimental aircraft that have taken to the skies. This includes the SR-71 Blackbird, the Enola Gay and an Air France Concorde.

It's about a 30 minute drive from DC, and has enough to look at to keep you busy for several hours. Highly recommended for the aviation buffs, young and old.

“The apartment was very clean, amenities just as advertised, and there was plenty of space for all of us (6 people in 4 bedrooms). The host was very responsive to our questions, Claire is the best! The apartment is on the D36 line which took us to the Convention Center and linked us to downtown. “This property is extremely accessible to DC and Arlington areas, 3 minutes for Reagan airport with no noise, and easy communication with excellent support from the host. We came for our son’s college graduation. It is nicely appointed however has just the basics in the kitchen and bath so bring all essentials.
