Stuga nr 1 - Pittoreska, rena, bekväma stuga bara 20 mil från Key West. Ligger vid havet. Stugan erbjuder ett fullt utrustat kök, avskärmad uteplats, ett enkelrum med dubbelsäng och en bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet. Några steg i båda riktningarna tar dig till glittrande vatten. The cottage is somewhat rustic but clean and comfortable. There maintenance issues, but with the close proximity to the ocean, I image these are ongoing. The directions provided by the property manager were clear and got us to the location without difficulty. Little details of nighttime speed limits and location frequented by police were accurate. Very quiet setting with wonderful view. If we should be visiting the keys again, I would stay rebook this cottage.

Inside home was clean. Location and grounds were good. The home itself was in need. A large tear in the screened porch, unpatched holes in bathroom wall, missing cabinet door in kitchen, needs porch pressure washed, interior could use fresh paint. But nice pool and grounds and the home interior was clean, good water pressure in shower.

Cute clean cottage. The bed needs a new box spring badly! Woke us up every time we rolled over…but firm Mattress was comfortable enough. Awesome spot to spend a few relaxing days for sure! Screened porch with fan was definitely a plus!

Yes you are on the ocean, yes there are docks, and yes you are centrally located for activities. Cottage was clean but very dated and not well kept. It is not private, we had people walking and driving in and around us throughout the day. We did bring a dog, which is why we liked the private description, but it was not and he spent a lot of time barking when we were there. Duct tape around windows and doors, note saying you cant turn the AC below 75. I live in Wisconsin and keep mine cooler than that! The pools were located in such a way as I felt rude using them. Grill, is a little propane weber fold up, not really what you expect. Definitely could use some upgrades and better description.

Did not use tge pool, it looked nice. The place is a little worn and dated. It was clean, everything worked as it should. Tough thing to find in the keys, it was very private. 4 places spred out over a long property. I could only see 2 houses, about the same when you went on the dock. Dock was nice, could use a handrail in a couple of places. The is a seawall to dock boats at. I plan on going back. The setting and the privacy were great. There are several bars and restaurants within a few miles. Tonios fresh seafood shop and tiki bar has excellent food AND service. Square grouper was good also. Did not try broil, wood fired food within walking distance. 20 miles out of key west.

Another Perfect Vacation At Our Favorite Place

We have been coming here for the past few years, usually during Memorial Day. We are always so relaxed and pleased with all aspects of our stay. Already working on booking again for next year!

Did not meet expectations

Our first impression as we entered was surprise. I am incredibly surprised people are giving this place 10’s. When I rent I rely on others ratings and reviews. The first thing noted is the pictures on the listing are NOT accurate. There is a plastic table with 3 plastic chairs on the patio, not the cute furniture in the photo on the listing. The screened porch has a tear in the screen, high above the door, so it must have happened when someone was working there. Mosquitoes were already present in the area and to my dismay inside the house. There are gaps in the back doorway and what they have tried to repair is with duct tape, in the kitchen and bathroom windows. There are cupboard doors missing and cute touches of decorations that were not like that in the listing photos. There was dirt on at least one wall. The furniture was stained,, 2 small chairs and the couch. The furniture is completely different color than in the listing. The bed “squeaked ” as if it was rubbery?! The dust ruffle was filthy, although the bedding appeared clean, thankfully. 1 lightbulb out of 3 worked in the bedroom. No hangers available. Only 1 nightstand, I made a makeshift one from our suitcases. No supplies, for example Saran Wrap, I know that may be a “luxury”, but every place I’ve stayed has basic supplies. Who travels with items like that?!.the microwave was new but difficult to figure out. My husband had to fix the toilet, luckily he is handy. Now for the positive, quiet and great shower.

Great spot for a keys getaway

Beautiful serene, location, located close enough to Key West and also nice restaurants in the area and close to Bahia Honda State Park, which was beautiful and the key deer areas.

This is a lovely location with a lovely view. The cottage itself is adequate; we pretty much just slept there. But it needs repair and refreshing. It was as clean as it could be for its aged appearance. The wire shelves need to go, we needed additional towel racks, there were no hangers. There were no pillow cases on the pillows in the shams. I wouldn't have cooked in the kitchen. I'd go back if it was fixed up!

Awesome location

Cottage 1 was right by the water. A walk down a long path to a dock was a nightly trip to watch the sunset. Located between Marathon Key and Key West was perfect for restaurants and stores without the crowding from tourists. About 20-30 minutes to Key West
