The Space:
Cockatoo Cabin by Tiny Away is a farm getaway and accommodation on the Sunshine Coast. Noosa National Park Walk, Mooloolaba Beach, Noosa Beach, Wildlife HQ, and Point Cartwright Lighthouse are just a few of the attractions in the area.

A lovely space set on 17 acres of land where you can unwind and relax. This cozy 139-square-foot tiny home has easy access to fresh tank water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers).

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny home, "Kookaburra Cabin," available with 24 hours' notice, ensuring you have even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home and its surroundings. Walk around the property, have a hit of tennis, swim in the pool (cold in winter), or just relax, read a book and pat the animals.

Cockatoo Cabin by Tiny Away sits in the rural town and locality of the Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland. Where you can explore restaurants, cafes, shops, and attractions. The tiny home is one of the best farm stay QLD getaways accommodations on the Sunshine Coast.

We’re just a 3-minute drive or a 15-minute walk from Palmwoods train station. If you'd prefer, we’d be happy to arrange a pick-up for you—just let us know in advance. Enjoy your stay!

By car: 1 hr flight to Brisbane
20 min drive to Sunshine Coast airport

By public transport: The train station is 3 min car ride from property
Bus from Brisbane or train
Uber and taxis available too

Other Things to Note:
- Mobile reception is good for Telstra
- No smoking allowed on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors allowed
- An outdoor fire pit is available for your use
- Kindling and wood can be collected from around the farm
- Keep in mind that we have three dams on the property
- Fresh eggs and milk, tea and coffee are provided to guests
- Please be aware that we have free-roaming animals from 2:30-4:00 PM daily
- CHILDREN ARE NOT ALLOWED due to 3 unfenced dams and farm animal hazards on-site
- If you’d like a campfire, you can bring firewood or you may purchase it from the service stations, if you’d rather not collect it. Some is provided for your use.
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs are possible if requested in advance.

Important note:

- Keep in mind that outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the compost toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
