Stay at Jewel in the crown

We had a lovely stay in this comfortable home. the kitchen and bathroom facilities were very clean and very functional as well as aesthetic. The house is a perfect size for 4-8 people, and a nice yard for the kids.

Great location

The location of the property was perfect for our trip. Large property with good sized bedrooms and the bathroom was spacious. I would suggest having basic supplies for your guests as well as cleaning products. We were from interstate and had to purchase these basics.Overall it was a good stay. Would recommend.

Would have given 5 Stars

This stay was great! The beds were comfortable and the couches were nice. The kitchen was AMAZING!! Everything was easy access and the area was perfect. The only issues we had were the occasional bugs and dirty floors. Dismissing those 2 small issues this stay would be 5 stars and we would stay again. Thank you for having us!

Crown at Currimundi

We had a lovely stay at Jewel in the Crown and it was great that we could have our pets with us. They enjoyed the yard and there was plenty of parking space for our 2 cars. The area was lovely and quiet and the locals very friendly. It is only a short walk to the coastal pathway and we used this a lot with our bikes to ride to Currimundi Beach, Moffatt Beach and Caloundra. There is air conditioning in the lounge/kitchen area and all 3 bedrooms and they all worked really well which was great for the really humid weather we experienced for the first two weeks. The bedrooms and bathroom are spacious and we loved how easy it was to keep everything clean. The only drawback was the extremely hard mattresses/bed. The location is great as it was only a 10 minute walk to the local supermarket and shops and a 10 minute drive to Kings Beach in Caloundra.

Pros: large fully functional kitchen with everything you need, fridge was great with ice and cold water. Modern bathroom, great parking, great location, shops and parks nearby, family friendly and spacious. Cons: black mould through the house especially on the living room curtain, windowsills, in bathroom behind bathtub. Just one see through curtain in living room made house feel less private. Fans were a nightmare to get working. All were run by different remotes and some worked & some didn’t. Aircon heating didn’t work in one room. One of the bedroom lights wouldn’t work, ceiling paint? was all peeling off, stains all over couch and smelt bad. Dead cockroach in dishwasher, council bins were almost completely full on the day we arrived, one of the stools was broken and one of the kids fell off because of it and could have been hurt. We got a message a couple hours before check in to say the washing machine wasn’t working. (They did apologise & say they would reimburse us for using laundromat however we were up for a sport tournament at the fields all day with kids and this was a huge inconvenience & the reason we booked the place was specifically because it had a washer and dryer). Hot water stopped working the morning we checked out for some reason. Not a fan of having to pick up and drop off keys from a separate location to the property. Overall the location and space is great but the property needs serious attention.
