The Space:

Montville Retreat Milan by Tiny Away is a charming, pet-friendly accommodation nestled in Montville, conveniently located just an hour from Brisbane and 16 minutes from Palmwoods. Whether you’re chasing waterfalls at Gardners Falls or exploring the lush trails of Kondalilla National Park, nature’s beauty awaits right outside your door.



When it’s time to relax, enjoy light meals, great coffee, and a glass of wine at The Edge Café, Bar & Restaurant—just two minutes away. Close by, you’ll also discover Poets Café, a classic bistro set in a charming European-style setting, along with Montville Gourmet Bistro, both perfect for takeaway or a leisurely dine-in experience.



Perched on a lush rainforest mountainside, this cozy 139-square-foot tiny home offers a peaceful farm stay with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ranges. Spend your evenings by the bonfire amphitheatre, fire up the BBQ, or unwind in the heated spring water plunge pool.



All with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a queen-sized bed, a well-equipped kitchenette, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.



IMPORTANT NOTE: For everyone’s safety, guests will need to sign a simple risk waiver—just a standard form like you’d find at most retreats. We have five (5) tiny houses on the property giving you even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy. Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the tiny home and its surroundings. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a tour of the property to help you settle in and explore all we have to offer.



The Neighborhood:

Montville Retreat Milan by Tiny Away sits in the peaceful locality of Montville, just an hour's drive from Melbourne and 16 minutes from Palmwoods. There’s plenty to explore nearby, from Gardner's Falls and Kondalilla National Park to popular spots like Australia Zoo, Montville Village, Baroon Pocket Dam, and the Glass House Mountains. You can also enjoy peaceful rainforest views right from our 13-acre property.



Getting Around:

By car:



- 1hr 15mins from Brisbane CBD

- All reachable by 2WD, 4WD, Motorcycles



Enjoy an evening on on the town. Brisbane CBD IS ONLY 1.5 HRS drive. 59km’s.



By public transport:



- Interstate guests can catch a taxi or uber from the Brisbane airport.

- Rent a car from the airport. Yes, taxi services are also an option.

- We also provide an exclusive pickup service by ourselves, your Tiny Away Retreat hosts - this will be an added value service by us, your hosts at a nominal fee.



Other Things to Note:

- Child-friendly accommodation

- A shared fire pit is available for guests to use

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- No smoking allowed inside the tiny home; only in designated areas

- BBQ dinner packs and cheese platters are available upon request with 24 24-hour notice

- Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone have strong signals, while 2degrees and Spark have weak signals

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge



Pet Policies:



- Well-behaved pets are welcome to join you for your getaway, with 24 hrs' prior notice.

- A $50 pet-cleaning surcharge applies per stay to cover the additional care and cleaning required after pet visits.

- Pets must be on leash at all times. The complete list of policies will be sent before arrival





Important note:



- No BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits during a total fire ban

- Due to the property's rural location, you may encounter inconveniences such as insects during your stay

- Following the recent heavy rains, part of the road has washed away. Parking is available near the front gate, approximately 200 m from the tiny house.

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
